以色列族曾遘患難、困苦備嘗、其中或主或僕、均無匡助、惟耶和華垂顧焉。

故我必降災於耶羅破暗家、使在以色列族中、絶其所有、或主或僕、不遺一男、如其子孫尚有存者、棄之如糞壤、必務其盡、

耶和華必降災於爾、絶爾後裔、不遺一男、爾之子孫、在以色列族中、自主及僕、靡有孑遺。

遂去他上帝、事耶和華。耶和華見以色列族困苦、則中心愀然。

民遭患難、主懷憂戚、自天遣使、以拯其災、特加眷愛、以贖其身、自昔迄今、扶翼之者屢矣。

埃及人虐遇以色列族、其籲上聞於我、我已鑒之。
