He was the one who restored the boundaries of Israel from Lebo Hamath to the Dead Sea, in accordance with the word of the Lord, the God of Israel, spoken through his servant Jonah son of Amittai, the prophet from Gath Hepher.

Jeroboam, the son of Jehoash, made the borders of Israel the same as they were before. They reached from Lebo Hamath all the way to the Dead Sea. That’s what the Lord, the God of Israel, had said would happen. He had spoken that message through his servant Jonah. Jonah the prophet was the son of Amittai. Jonah was from the town of Gath Hepher.

He restored the border of Israel from Lebo-hamath as far as the Sea of the Arabah, according to the word of the Lord, the God of Israel, which he spoke by his servant Jonah the son of Amittai, the prophet, who was from Gath-hepher.

又把亚拉巴，和以约旦河为界，从基尼烈直到亚拉巴海，就是盐海，在毗斯迦山坡下东边的地方，都给了他们。

耶和华的话临到亚米太的儿子约拿，说：

又从那里往东面日出的方向，经过迦特．希弗，到以特．加汛、临门，再伸展到尼亚；

但耶稣说：“邪恶和淫乱的世代寻求神迹，除了约拿先知的神迹以外，再没有神迹给你们了。约拿怎样三日三夜在大鱼的腹中，人子也要照样三日三夜在地里。

邪恶和淫乱的世代要寻求神迹，除了约拿的神迹之外，不会有什么神迹给它了。”耶稣就离开他们走了。

他们上去窥探了那地，从寻的旷野到利合，直到哈玛关口。

那时所罗门与从哈马口直到埃及小河的以色列人，都在耶和华我们的神面前举行盛大的集会，守节七天，又七天，一共十四天。

约哈斯的儿子约阿施从哈薛的儿子便．哈达手中，把哈薛在战争时从约阿施的父亲约哈斯手中夺去的城市收复。约阿施三次打败便．哈达，收复以色列的城市。

“看哪！以色列家，我要兴起一国攻击你们，这国要欺压你们，从哈马关口直至亚拉巴河。”这是万军耶和华神的宣告。

这五王在西订谷会合。西订谷就是盐海。

又经哈马、比罗他和位于大马士革边界与哈马边界之间的西伯莲，直到浩兰的边界的哈撒．哈提干。这边界从海到哈萨．以难，北边有大马士革的边界，再北有哈马的边界。这是北面的地界。东面的地界是在浩兰和大马士革之间，基列和以色列地之间的约旦河。你们要从北面的地界量到东海（“你们要从北面的地界量到东海”或参照《叙利亚文古译本》翻译为“伸界到东海，以至他玛”），这是东面的地界。

“‘你们的北界如下：从大海起画界，直到何珥山；从何珥山起画界，直到哈马口，使边界直到西达达；
