於是亞撒將永恆主之殿的府庫和王宮的府庫裏所剩下的金銀、都交在他臣僕手中，打發他們到住大馬色的亞蘭王、希旬的孫子、他伯利們的兒子便哈達那裏去，

火鼎、碗、一切金器、一切銀器、護衛長也都把它當金銀拿了去。

猶大王約阿施將他列祖猶大王約沙法、約蘭、亞哈謝、所獻為聖別之物、和他自己所獻為聖別之物、跟永恆主之殿和王宮府庫裏所有的一切金子、都送給亞蘭王哈薛；哈薛就不上耶路撒冷來了。

如今你可以和我主上亞述王交換打賭當頭：我給你二千匹馬，看你那一方面能派出足夠的人來騎牠不。

巴比倫王將永恆主之殿的一切寶物和王宮的寶物都從那裏取出來，又把以色列王所羅門在永恆主殿堂所造的一切金器都砍壞了，正如永恆主所說過的。
