故耶和華震怒、屢付以色列族於亞蘭王哈泄、及其子便哈達之手。

於是主向以色列人震怒、付於亞蘭王哈薛及其子便哈達之手、

So the Lord’s anger burned against Israel, and for a long time he kept them under the power of Hazael king of Aram and Ben-Hadad his son.

So the Lord was very angry with Israel. For a long time he kept them under the power of Hazael, the king of Aram. The Lord also kept them under the power of his son Ben- Hadad.

And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he gave them continually into the hand of Hazael king of Syria and into the hand of Ben-hadad the son of Hazael.

So the Lord was very angry with Israel, and he allowed King Hazael of Aram and his son Ben hadad to defeat them repeatedly.

So the LORD’s anger burned against Israel, and he handed them over to King Hazael of Aram and to his son Ben-hadad during their reigns.

So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and He continually handed them over to Hazael king of Aram, and to Ben hadad, the son of Hazael.

Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel, and He delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Ben-Hadad the son of Hazael, all their days.

And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael, continually.

So the Lord’s anger burned against Israel, and He surrendered them to the power of Hazael king of Aram and his son Ben-hadad during their reigns.

And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael, all[ their] days.

The LORD was furious with Israel and handed them over to King Hazael of Syria and to Hazael’s son Ben Hadad for many years.

耶和華的怒氣向以色列發作，把他們交在搶奪他們的人手中，又把他們交給四圍仇敵的手中，以致他們在仇敵面前再也不能站立得住。

亞蘭王哈薛死了，他兒子便‧哈達接續他作王。從前哈薛和約阿施的父親約哈斯交戰，攻取了些城鎮，現在約哈斯的兒子約阿施三次打敗哈薛的兒子便‧哈達，從他手中收回了以色列的城鎮。

將來逃過哈薛之刀的，必被耶戶所殺；逃過耶戶之刀的，必被以利沙所殺。

那時，亞蘭王哈薛上來攻打迦特，攻取了它。哈薛就定意上來攻打耶路撒冷。

因為耶和華－你的上帝是吞滅的火，是忌邪的上帝。「你們在那地住久了，生子生孫，若行為敗壞，為自己雕刻任何形狀的偶像，行耶和華－你上帝眼中看為惡的事，惹他發怒，我今日呼天喚地向你們作見證，你們在過約旦河得為業的地上必迅速滅亡！你們在那地的日子必不長久，必全然滅絕。耶和華必將你們分散在萬民中；在耶和華領你們到的列國中，你們剩下的人丁稀少。

因為我們的上帝是吞滅的火。

我要向你們變臉，使你們敗在仇敵的面前。恨惡你們的必管轄你們；無人追趕，你們卻要逃跑。

哈薛說：「我主為甚麼哭？」他說：「因為我知道你必虐待以色列人，用火焚燒他們的堡壘，用刀殺死他們的壯丁，摔死他們的嬰孩，剖開他們的孕婦。」哈薛說：「僕人算甚麼，不過是一條狗，怎麼能行這大事呢？」以利沙說：「耶和華指示我，你必作亞蘭王。」

所以耶和華的怒氣向以色列發作，把他們交給美索不達米亞王古珊‧利薩田的手中。以色列人服事古珊‧利薩田八年。

「耶和華必使你在仇敵面前潰敗。你從一條路去攻擊他們，必從七條路逃跑。地上萬國必因你而驚駭。

禍哉！亞述，我怒氣的棍！他們手中的杖是我的惱恨。我要差遣他攻擊褻瀆的國，吩咐他對付我所惱怒的民，搶走擄物，奪取掠物，將他們踐踏，如同街上的泥土一般。

約哈斯在位年間，亞蘭王哈薛屢次欺壓以色列。

耶和華的怒氣向以色列發作，把他們交給非利士人和亞捫人的手中。從那年起，他們欺壓迫害以色列人，在約旦河東，亞摩利人境內，基列一帶所有的以色列人，長達十八年。亞捫人渡過約旦河去攻打猶大和便雅憫，以及以法蓮家族。以色列的處境非常困苦。以色列人哀求耶和華說：「我們得罪了你，因為我們離棄了我們的上帝，去事奉諸巴力。」耶和華對以色列人說：「我豈沒有救你們脫離埃及人、亞摩利人、亞捫人和非利士人嗎？西頓人、亞瑪力人和馬雲人欺壓你們，你們哀求我，我也拯救你們脫離他們的手。你們竟離棄我去事奉別神！所以我不再救你們了。你們去哀求你們所選擇的神明；你們遭遇急難的時候，讓它們救你們吧！」
