But Yahweh was gracious to them, and had compassion on them, and had respect for them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, and he didn’t cast them from his presence as yet.

但是永恆主卻因他和亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、所立之約的緣故，仍然恩待以色列人，憐恤他們，垂顧他們、不情願使他們滅絕，所以直到現在還沒有丟掉他們離開自己面前。

惟耶和華因與亞伯拉罕以撒雅各所立之約、施恩矜恤之、眷顧之、尚不滅之、不逐之於其前、

然主因與亞伯拉罕以撒雅各所立之約故、仍施恩於以色列人、矜恤之、眷顧之、不欲盡滅之、尚未逐於其前、

But the Lord was gracious to them and had compassion and showed concern for them because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. To this day he has been unwilling to destroy them or banish them from his presence.

But the Lord helped Israel. He was tender and kind to them. He showed concern for them. He did all these things because of the covenant he had made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. To this day he hasn’t been willing to destroy Israel. And he hasn’t driven them out of his land.

But the Lord was gracious to them and had compassion on them, and he turned toward them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, nor has he cast them from his presence until now.

But the Lord was gracious and merciful to the people of Israel, and they were not totally destroyed. He pitied them because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And to this day he still has not completely destroyed them or banished them from his presence.

But the LORD had mercy on them and felt pity for them. He extended his favor to them because of the promise he had made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He has been unwilling to destroy them or remove them from his presence to this very day.

Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn’t retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.He will again have compassion on us. He will tread our iniquities under foot; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.You will give truth to Jacob, and mercy to Abraham, as you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

Yahweh didn’t say that he would blot out the name of Israel from under the sky; but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.

I will make your offspring as the dust of the earth, so that if a man can count the dust of the earth, then your offspring may also be counted.Arise, walk through the land in its length and in its width; for I will give it to you.”

Yet have respect for the prayer of your servant, and for his supplication, Yahweh my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which your servant prays before you today;

For through the anger of Yahweh, this happened in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence. Then Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

I will make my covenant between me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”Abram fell on his face. God talked with him, saying,“ As for me, behold, my covenant is with you. You will be the father of a multitude of nations.Your name will no more be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham; for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.

Therefore Yahweh was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight. There was none left but the tribe of Judah only.

God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.God saw the children of Israel, and God was concerned about them.

to show mercy toward our fathers, to remember his holy covenant,the oath which he swore to Abraham, our father,

Therefore Yahweh will wait, that he may be gracious to you; and therefore he will be exalted, that he may have mercy on you, for Yahweh is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him.For the people will dwell in Zion at Jerusalem. You will weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the voice of your cry. When he hears you, he will answer you.

“ Nevertheless in your manifold mercies you didn’t make a full end of them, nor forsake them; for you are a gracious and merciful God.Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness, don’t let all the travail seem little before you, that has come on us, on our kings, on our princes, on our priests, on our prophets, on our fathers, and on all your people, since the time of the kings of Assyria to this day.

Yahweh said,“ My Spirit will not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; so his days will be one hundred twenty years.”

They put away the foreign gods from among them and served Yahweh; and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.

Moreover he said,“ I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.Yahweh said,“ I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

It will happen, that after I have plucked them up, I will return and have compassion on them. I will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.

Don’t throw me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me.

I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your offspring after you.I will give to you, and to your offspring after you, the land where you are traveling, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. I will be their God.”

He said,“ I will make all my goodness pass before you, and will proclaim Yahweh’s name before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.”

For Yahweh will judge his people, and have compassion on his servants, when he sees that their power is gone; that there is no one remaining, shut up or left at large.

Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed,“ Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth,keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin; and who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the children’s children, on the third and on the fourth generation.”

Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you swore by your own self, and said to them,‘ I will multiply your offspring as the stars of the sky, and all this land that I have spoken of I will give to your offspring, and they shall inherit it forever.’”So Yahweh turned away from the evil which he said he would do to his people.

who will pay the penalty: eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

But you, Lord, are a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth.

then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham; and I will remember the land.

He has given help to Israel, his servant, that he might remember mercy,as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and his offspring forever.”

For though he causes grief, yet he will have compassion according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.

He has remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,

Then he will say also to those on the left hand,‘ Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels;
