耶和華因為與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的約，就恩待以色列人，憐憫、眷顧他們，至今仍不願滅絕他們，沒有把他們從自己面前趕走。

惟耶和華因與亞伯拉罕以撒雅各所立之約、施恩矜恤之、眷顧之、尚不滅之、不逐之於其前、

然主因與亞伯拉罕以撒雅各所立之約故、仍施恩於以色列人、矜恤之、眷顧之、不欲盡滅之、尚未逐於其前、

But the Lord was gracious to them and had compassion and showed concern for them because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. To this day he has been unwilling to destroy them or banish them from his presence.

But the Lord helped Israel. He was tender and kind to them. He showed concern for them. He did all these things because of the covenant he had made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. To this day he hasn’t been willing to destroy Israel. And he hasn’t driven them out of his land.

But the Lord was gracious to them and had compassion on them, and he turned toward them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, nor has he cast them from his presence until now.

But the Lord was gracious and merciful to the people of Israel, and they were not totally destroyed. He pitied them because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And to this day he still has not completely destroyed them or banished them from his presence.

But the LORD had mercy on them and felt pity for them. He extended his favor to them because of the promise he had made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He has been unwilling to destroy them or remove them from his presence to this very day.

But Yahweh was gracious to them, and had compassion on them, and had respect for them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, and he didn’t cast them from his presence as yet.

有何神明像你一樣赦免罪惡，饒恕你倖存子民的過犯？你不會永遠發怒，因為你樂於施恩。你必再憐憫我們，將我們的罪惡踐踏在腳下，把我們的一切過犯拋進深海。你必按古時給我們列祖的誓言，以信實待雅各，以慈愛待亞伯拉罕。

耶和華沒有說要從世上抹去以色列的名，因此他藉著約阿施的兒子耶羅波安拯救他們。

我要使你的後代多如地上的塵土，人若能數算地上的塵土，才能數算你的後代。你起來走遍這片土地，因為我要把這片土地賜給你。」

可是，我的上帝耶和華啊，求你垂顧你僕人的禱告和祈求，垂聽你僕人今天在你面前的呼求和祈禱。

因此，耶和華向耶路撒冷和猶大的人發怒，把他們從祂面前趕走。後來，西底迦背叛了巴比倫王。

我要與你立約，我要使你子孫極其興旺。」亞伯蘭就俯伏在地，上帝又對他說：「我要與你立約，你必成為許多民族的始祖。以後你的名字不再叫亞伯蘭，要改為亞伯拉罕，因為我要立你為萬族之父。

因此，耶和華非常憤怒，從祂面前趕走以色列人，只留下猶大一個支派。

上帝聽見他們的哀聲，顧念從前跟亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的約，就垂顧他們，體恤他們。

祂憐憫我們的祖先，持守自己的聖約，就是祂對我們的先祖亞伯拉罕所起的誓，

因此，耶和華正在等候，準備施恩給你們，祂必憐憫你們。因為耶和華是公義的上帝，等候祂的人有福了！住在耶路撒冷的錫安百姓啊，你們必不再哭泣。祂聽到你們的呼求後必恩待你們；祂聽見後必應允你們。

然而，你大施憐憫，沒有完全毀滅他們，也沒有離棄他們，因為你是有恩典和憐憫的上帝。「因此，我們的上帝啊，你是偉大、全能、可畏、守約、施慈愛的上帝，求你不要輕看我們的王、首領、祭司、先知、祖先和你的子民從亞述諸王時代直到今天所受的苦難。

耶和華說：「人既然是血肉之軀，我的靈不會永遠住在人的裡面，然而人還可以活一百二十年。」

以色列人除掉了他們的外邦神像，轉而事奉耶和華。耶和華不忍再看以色列人受苦。

又說：「我是你祖先的上帝，是亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。」摩西害怕看上帝，就把臉蒙起來。耶和華說：「我已經看見我子民在埃及所受的苦難，聽見了他們因監工的壓迫而發出的呼求。我知道他們的痛苦。

我逐出他們以後，還要再憐憫他們，把他們帶回各自的家園和故土。

不要丟棄我，使我離開你，也不要從我身上收回你的聖靈。

我要和你並你的子子孫孫立永恆的約，我要做你和你子孫的上帝。我要把你現在寄居的整個迦南賜給你和你的後裔永遠作產業，我也必做他們的上帝。」

耶和華說：「我必叫你看見我一切的美善，我要在你面前宣告我的名——耶和華，我要恩待誰就恩待誰，我要憐憫誰就憐憫誰。

「耶和華見自己的子民力量衰竭，奴隸和自由人所剩無幾，必為他們主持公道，憐憫祂的僕人。

耶和華在摩西面前經過，並且宣告說：「我是耶和華，我是耶和華，是有憐憫和恩典的上帝，不輕易發怒，充滿慈愛，無比信實，向千萬人彰顯慈愛，赦免罪惡和過犯，但決不免除罪責，必向子孫追討父輩的罪債，直到三四代。」

求你顧念你的僕人亞伯拉罕、以撒和以色列，你曾憑自己向他們起誓說，『我必使你們的後代像天上的星星那麼多。我應許給你們後代的這整片土地，我必賜給他們作永遠的產業。』」耶和華聽了摩西的話，就心生憐憫，不把所說的災禍降在百姓身上。

那些人要受的刑罰就是離開主的面和祂榮耀的權能，永遠滅亡。

但主啊，你是有憐憫和恩典的上帝，不輕易發怒，充滿慈愛，無比信實。

我便履行我與亞伯拉罕、以撒和雅各所立的約，眷顧那片土地。

祂扶助了自己的僕人以色列，祂要施憐憫給亞伯拉罕和他的子孫，直到永遠，正如祂對我們祖先的應許。」

主儘管使人憂傷，祂依然憐憫人，因為祂有無限的慈愛。

祂永遠記得祂的約，歷經千代也不忘祂的應許，

「王又對左邊的人說，『你們這些被咒詛的人，走開！到專為魔鬼及其使者預備的永遠不滅的火裡去吧！
