Once while some Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders; so they threw the man’s body into Elisha’s tomb. When the body touched Elisha’s bones, the man came to life and stood up on his feet.

One day some Israelites were burying a man. Suddenly they saw a group of robbers. So they threw the man’s body into Elisha’s tomb. The body touched Elisha’s bones. When it did, the man came back to life again. He stood up on his feet.

And as a man was being buried, behold, a marauding band was seen and the man was thrown into the grave of Elisha, and as soon as the man touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet.

Once when some Israelites were burying a man, they spied a band of these raiders. So they hastily threw the corpse into the tomb of Elisha and fled. But as soon as the body touched Elisha’s bones, the dead man revived and jumped to his feet!

我為耶和華神所感、恍惚中若睹異象、導我至谷、谷中骸骨殆遍、使我四周巡察、見骨不勝數、甚為枯槁、散於谷中。主謂我曰、人子、此骨可復生乎、我曰主耶和華、爾知之矣。又謂我曰、當告斯骨云、爾枯骨與宜聽耶和華言、主耶和華曰、我必以氣噓爾、使爾復生、我必束爾以筋絡、長爾以肌膚、通爾以呼吸、可得復生、俾知我乃耶和華。我遵命而行、遂有震動之聲、骨相聚合、但見筋聯膚生、惟不能呼吸、主謂我曰、人子爾當呼風曰主耶和華曰、氣息當至、來自四方、使斯死者、呼吸潛通、則可復生、我遵命而行、氣息遂至使死者呼吸而復生、皆立於前、不可勝數、

或自其身取巾及襜衣、加諸病者、疾病除、邪神出、○

越三日有半、上帝以生氣吹之、使復起立、觀者無不駭愕、

死者即出、手足縛布、面裹巾、耶穌曰、解之使行、

勿以此為奇、時至、凡墓內者、將聞人子聲而出、為善者復起以得生、為惡者復起以受罪、

遂下行於室中、又上、伏於子身、子發嚏七、旋啟其目。

墓啟、而既逝之聖、其身多復起出墓者、迨耶穌甦後、入聖京、多人見之、○

然必復振興、若死者必甦、雖居塵土、將勃然起、謳歌不已、若草枯萎、既經雨露、必復向榮、斯邦之民、已死復生亦若是。

人扶病者、出於衢、寢之床榻、冀彼得過、影或庇之、

我誠告爾、時至、今是也、死者必聞上帝子之聲、而聞之者必生、
