The man of God was angry with him and said,“ You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times.”

But the man of God was angry with him.“ You should have struck the ground five or six times!” he exclaimed.“ Then you would have beaten Aram until it was entirely destroyed. Now you will be victorious only three times.”

And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times: then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it; whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

The prophet got angry at him and said,“ If you had struck the ground five or six times, you would have annihilated Syria! But now, you will defeat Syria only three times.”

The man of God was angry with him, and said,“ You should have struck five or six times. Then you would have struck Syria until you had consumed it; whereas now you will strike Syria just three times.”

湯煮好後倒出來給眾人喝，他們剛喝了一點，就叫道：「上帝的僕人啊，湯裡有毒！」他們都不敢喝了。

摩西非常憤怒，就對耶和華說：「求你不要接納他們的祭物。我沒有取過他們一頭驢，也沒有害過他們任何人。」

摩西到處尋找那隻作贖罪祭的公山羊，卻發現那隻羊已經被焚燒了。他憤怒地對亞倫剩下的兩個兒子以利亞撒和以他瑪說：

耶穌看見後很生氣，對門徒說：「讓小孩子到我這裡來，不要阻止他們，因為上帝的國屬於這樣的人。

耶穌生氣地看著四周這些人，為他們的心剛硬而感到難過。祂對那人說：「把手伸出來！」那人一伸手，手就立刻復原了。

耶穌不能在那裡行任何神蹟，只把手按在幾個病人身上，醫治了他們。

於是，王派一個五十夫長率領五十人去找以利亞。那時，以利亞正坐在山頂上。五十夫長到了那裡，對他說：「上帝的僕人啊，王命令你下來。」以利亞說：「我若是上帝的僕人，願火從天降下燒死你和你的五十個部下。」火立刻從天降下，燒死了五十夫長和他的五十個部下。亞哈謝王又派一個五十夫長率領五十人去以利亞那裡，五十夫長對以利亞說：「上帝的僕人啊，王命令你馬上下來。」以利亞說：「我若是上帝的僕人，願火從天降下，燒死你和你的五十個部下。」上帝的火從天降下，燒死了五十夫長和他的五十個部下。王再次派一個五十夫長率領五十人前去。五十夫長上去，雙膝跪在以利亞面前，哀求道：「上帝的僕人啊，求你饒了我和你的五十名僕人的性命。前兩個五十夫長和他們的部下都被天上降下的火燒死了，現在求你饒我一命！」耶和華的天使對以利亞說：「不要害怕，跟他去吧！」以利亞就起來跟他去見王。

上帝的僕人派人去稟告以色列王說：「你要小心，不要經過那個地方，因為亞蘭人埋伏在那裡。」

以利沙對她說：「明年這時候，你必抱一個兒子。」她說：「上帝的僕人，我主啊，不要騙我。」
