Jehoiada the priest took a chest and bored a hole in its lid. He placed it beside the altar, on the right side as one enters the temple of the Lord. The priests who guarded the entrance put into the chest all the money that was brought to the temple of the Lord.

Jehoiada the priest got a chest. He drilled a hole in its lid. He placed the chest beside the altar for burnt offerings. The chest was on the right side as people enter the Lord’ s temple. Some priests guarded the entrance. They put into the chest all the money the people brought to the temple.

Then Jehoiada the priest took a chest and bored a hole in the lid of it and set it beside the altar on the right side as one entered the house of the Lord. And the priests who guarded the threshold put in it all the money that was brought into the house of the Lord.

Then Jehoiada the priest bored a hole in the lid of a large chest and set it on the right hand side of the altar at the entrance of the Temple of the Lord. The priests guarding the entrance put all of the people’s contributions into the chest.

Then the priest Jehoiada took a chest, bored a hole in its lid, and set it beside the altar on the right side as one enters the LORD’s temple; the priests who guarded the threshold put into the chest all the silver that was brought to the LORD’s temple.

耶穌面向聖殿銀庫坐着，看眾人怎樣把錢投入銀庫。有好些財主投了許多錢。

在你的院宇一日，勝似千日；寧可在我上帝的殿中看門，不願住在惡人的帳棚裏。

耶穌抬頭觀看，見財主把捐項投入聖殿銀庫，

領他們到耶和華的殿，進入伊基大利的兒子神人哈難兒子們的房間；那房間靠近官長的房間，在沙龍之子門口的守衛瑪西雅的房間上面。

護衛長拿住西萊雅大祭司、西番亞副祭司和門口的三個守衛，

王吩咐希勒家大祭司和副祭司，以及把守殿門的，把那些為巴力和亞舍拉，以及天上萬象所造的器皿，都從耶和華殿裏搬出來，在耶路撒冷外汲淪的田間燒了，把灰拿到伯特利去。

其次還有跟隨他們的弟兄撒迦利雅、便‧雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、烏尼、以利押、比拿雅、瑪西雅、瑪他提雅、以利斐利戶、彌克尼雅，以及門口的守衛俄別‧以東和耶利。

示巴尼、約沙法、拿坦業、亞瑪賽、撒迦利雅、比拿亞、以利以謝眾祭司在上帝的約櫃前吹號。俄別‧以東和耶希亞也是約櫃的守衛。

「你上到希勒家大祭司那裏，請他把奉獻到耶和華殿的銀子，就是門口的守衛從百姓中收來的銀子，結算清楚，

於是王下令造一個櫃子，放在耶和華殿的門外，又通告猶大和耶路撒冷，要將上帝僕人摩西在曠野所吩咐以色列的捐獻送來給耶和華。眾領袖和百姓都歡歡喜喜帶捐獻來，投入櫃中，直到投滿。利未人見銀子多了，把櫃子抬到王所派的官長面前；這時王的書記和祭司長的助手就會來把櫃子倒空，然後放回原處。日日都是這樣做，積蓄的銀子很多。王與耶何耶大把銀子交給耶和華殿裏辦事的人，他們就雇了石匠、木匠重修耶和華的殿，又雇了鐵匠、銅匠整修耶和華的殿。工人做工，修理工程在他們手中漸漸完成，他們將上帝的殿修理得如同從前一樣，非常堅固。他們做完了，就把多餘的銀子拿到王與耶何耶大面前，用以製造耶和華殿供奉所用的器皿和調羹，以及金銀的器皿。耶何耶大在世的日子，眾人經常在耶和華殿裏獻燔祭。
