Then Jehoash said to the priests,“ All the money of the sacred offerings which is brought into the house of the Lord, in current money, both the money of each man’s assessment and all the money which anyone’s heart prompts him to bring into the house of the Lord,

Joash said to the priests,“ Collect all the money that is brought as sacred offerings to the temple of the Lord— the money collected in the census, the money received from personal vows and the money brought voluntarily to the temple.

Joash spoke to the priests. He said,“ Collect all the money the people bring as sacred offerings to the Lord’ s temple. That includes the money collected when the men who are able to serve in the army are counted. It includes the money received from people who make a special promise to the Lord. It also includes the money people bring to the temple just because they want to.

Jehoash said to the priests,“ All the money of the holy things that is brought into the house of the Lord, the money for which each man is assessed— the money from the assessment of persons— and the money that a man’s heart prompts him to bring into the house of the Lord,

One day King Joash said to the priests,“ Collect all the money brought as a sacred offering to the Lord’s Temple, whether it is a regular assessment, a payment of vows, or a voluntary gift.

Then Joash said to the priests,“ All the dedicated silver brought to the LORD’s temple, census silver, silver from vows, and all silver voluntarily given for the LORD’s temple—

And Jehoash said to the priests,“ All the money of the dedicated gifts that are brought into the house of the Lord— each man’s census money, each man’s assessment money— and all the money that a man purposes in his heart to bring into the house of the Lord,

And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the hallowed things that is brought into the house of Jehovah, in current money, the money of the persons for whom each man is rated, and all the money that it cometh into any man’s heart to bring into the house of Jehovah,

Then Joash said to the priests,“ All the dedicated money brought to the Lord’s temple, census money, money from vows, and all money voluntarily given for the Lord’s temple,

And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the dedicated things that is brought into the house of the LORD,[ even] the money of every one that passeth[ the account], the money that every man is set at,[ and] all the money that cometh into any man’s heart to bring into the house of the LORD,

Jehoash said to the priests,“ I place at your disposal all the consecrated silver that has been brought to the LORD’s temple, including the silver collected from the census tax, the silver received from those who have made vows, and all the silver that people have voluntarily contributed to the LORD’s temple.

Jehoash said to the priests,“ All the money of the holy things that is brought into Yahweh’s house, in current money, the money of the people for whom each man is evaluated, and all the money that it comes into any man’s heart to bring into Yahweh’s house,

“ Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, and have him count all the money brought into the house of the Lord, which the doorkeepers have collected from the people.

‘ Take from among you a contribution to the Lord; whoever is of a willing heart is to bring it as the Lord’s contribution: gold, silver, and bronze,

In addition, in my delight in the house of my God, the treasure I have of gold and silver, I give to the house of my God, over and above all that I have already provided for the holy temple,namely, three thousand talents of gold, from the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the buildings;gold for the things of gold and silver for the things of silver, that is, for all the work done by the craftsmen. Who then is willing to consecrate himself this day to the Lord?”Then the rulers of the fathers’ households, the leaders of the tribes of Israel, and the commanders of thousands and hundreds, with the supervisors of the king’s work, offered willingly;and for the service of the house of God they gave five thousand talents and ten thousand darics of gold, ten thousand talents of silver, eighteen thousand talents of brass, and a hundred thousand talents of iron.Whoever possessed precious stones gave them to the treasury of the house of the Lord, in care of Jehiel the Gershonite.Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made their offering to the Lord wholeheartedly, and King David also rejoiced greatly.

The Israelites, all the men and women, whose heart moved them to bring material for all the work, which the Lord had commanded through Moses to be done, brought a voluntary offering to the Lord.

Then all whose hearts moved them, both men and women, came and brought brooches and earrings and signet rings and bracelets, all articles of gold; so did everyone who presented an offering of gold to the Lord.

“ When you take a census of the sons of Israel to count them, then each one of them shall give a ransom for himself to the Lord, when you count them, so that there will be no plague among them when you count them.This is what everyone who is counted shall give: half a shekel according to the shekel of the sanctuary( the shekel is twenty gerahs), half a shekel as a contribution to the Lord.Everyone who is counted, from twenty years old and over, shall give the contribution to the Lord.The rich shall not pay more, and the poor shall not pay less, than the half shekel, when you give the contribution to the Lord to make atonement for yourselves.And you shall take the atonement money from the sons of Israel and give it for the service of the tent of meeting, so that it may be a memorial for the sons of Israel before the Lord, to make atonement for yourselves.”

for they all contributed to the offering from their surplus; but she, from her poverty, put in all that she had to live on.”

They faithfully brought in the contributions, the tithes, and the consecrated things; and Conaniah the Levite was the officer in charge of them, and his brother Shimei was second.

He brought into the house of God the dedicated things of his father and his own dedicated things: silver, gold, and utensils.

“ Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them,‘ When someone makes an explicit vow, he shall be valued according to your assessment of persons belonging to the Lord.If your assessment is of a male from twenty years even to sixty years old, then your assessment shall be fifty shekels of silver, by the shekel of the sanctuary.Or if the person is a female, then your assessment shall be thirty shekels.And if the person is from five years even to twenty years old, then your assessment for a male shall be twenty shekels, and for a female, ten shekels.But if the person is from a month even up to five years old, then your assessment shall be five shekels of silver for a male, and for a female your assessment shall be three shekels of silver.If the person is from sixty years old and upward, if a male, then your assessment shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female, ten shekels.But if he is poorer than your assessment, then he shall be presented before the priest, and the priest shall assess him; according to the means of the one who vowed, the priest shall assess him.

“ If a person acts unfaithfully and sins unintentionally against the Lord’s holy things, then he shall bring his guilt offering to the Lord: a ram without defect from the flock, according to your assessment in silver by shekels, in terms of the shekel of the sanctuary, as a guilt offering.And he shall make restitution for that which he has sinned against the holy thing, and shall add to it a fifth part of it and give it to the priest. The priest shall then make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering, and it will be forgiven him.

Since I know, my God, that You put the heart to the test and delight in uprightness, I, in the integrity of my heart, have willingly offered all these things; so now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly to You.

He brought in the priests and the Levites and gathered them into the public square on the east.Then he said to them,“ Listen to me, you Levites. Consecrate yourselves now, and consecrate the house of the Lord, the God of your fathers, and carry the uncleanness out of the holy place.For our fathers have been unfaithful and have done evil in the sight of the Lord our God, and they have abandoned Him and turned their faces away from the dwelling place of the Lord, and have turned their backs.They have also shut the doors of the porch and extinguished the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Israel.Therefore the wrath of the Lord was against Judah and Jerusalem, and He has made them an object of terror, of horror, and of hissing, as you see with your own eyes.For behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons, our daughters, and our wives are in captivity because of this.Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the Lord God of Israel, so that His burning anger may turn away from us.My sons, do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and to be His ministers and burn incense.”

And the priest shall assess it as either good or bad; as you, the priest, assess it, so shall it be.But if he should ever want to redeem it, then he shall add a fifth of it to your assessment.‘ Now if someone consecrates his house as holy to the Lord, then the priest shall assess it as either good or bad; as the priest assesses it, so shall it stand.Yet if the one who consecrates it should want to redeem his house, then he shall add a fifth of your assessment price to it, so that it may be his.‘ Again, if someone consecrates to the Lord part of the field of his own property, then your assessment shall be proportionate to the seed needed for it: a homer of barley seed at fifty shekels of silver.If he consecrates his field as of the year of jubilee, according to your assessment it shall stand.If he consecrates his field after the jubilee, however, then the priest shall calculate the price for him proportionate to the years that are left until the year of jubilee; and it shall be deducted from your assessment.If the one who consecrates it should ever want to redeem the field, then he shall add a fifth of your assessment price to it, so that it may belong to him.Yet if he does not redeem the field, but has sold the field to another person, it may no longer be redeemed;and when it reverts in the jubilee, the field shall be holy to the Lord, like a field banned from secular use; it shall be for the priest as his property.Or if he consecrates to the Lord a field which he has bought, which is not a part of the field of his own property,then the priest shall calculate for him the amount of your assessment up to the year of jubilee; and he shall on that day give your assessment as holy to the Lord.In the year of jubilee the field shall return to the one from whom he bought it, to whom the possession of the land belongs.Every assessment of yours, moreover, shall be by the shekel of the sanctuary. The shekel shall be twenty gerahs.‘ However, a firstborn among animals, which as a firstborn belongs to the Lord, no one may consecrate; whether ox or sheep, it is the Lord’s.But if it is among the unclean animals, then he shall redeem it according to your assessment and add to it a fifth of it; and if it is not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to your assessment.

He appointed the priests to their offices and encouraged them in the service of the house of the Lord.

And all of those around them encouraged them with articles of silver, with gold, with equipment, cattle, and with valuables, aside from everything that was given as a voluntary offering.

According to their ability they gave to the treasury for the work sixty one thousand gold drachmas, five thousand silver minas, and a hundred priestly garments.

and I weighed out to them the silver, the gold, and the utensils, the offering for the house of our God which the king, his counselors, his officials, and all Israel who were present there had contributed.So I weighed into their hands 650 talents of silver, and silver utensils worth a hundred talents, and a hundred gold talents,and twenty gold bowls worth a thousand darics, and two utensils of fine shiny bronze, precious as gold.Then I said to them,“ You are holy to the Lord, and the utensils are holy; and the silver and the gold are a voluntary offering to the Lord God of your fathers.

with all the silver and gold which you find in the entire province of Babylon, along with the voluntary offering of the people and of the priests, who offered willingly for the house of their God which is in Jerusalem;

If, therefore, someone should ever want to redeem part of his tithe, he shall add to it a fifth of it.

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,“ Tell the sons of Israel to take a contribution for Me; from everyone whose heart moves him you shall take My contribution.

And they made a proclamation in Judah and Jerusalem to bring to the Lord the contribution commanded by Moses the servant of God on Israel in the wilderness.All the officers and all the people rejoiced, and they brought in their contribution and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.

Now Solomon built his own house over the course of thirteen years, and he finished all of his house.

They received from Moses every contribution which the sons of Israel had brought to perform the work in the construction of the sanctuary. And they still continued bringing to him voluntary offerings every morning.

So Jehoash king of Judah took all the sacred offerings that Jehoshaphat, Jehoram, and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had consecrated, and his own sacred offerings, and all the gold that was found among the treasuries of the house of the Lord and of the king’s house, and sent them to Hazael king of Aram. Then he withdrew from Jerusalem.

King David also dedicated these to the Lord, with the silver and the gold which he had carried away from all the nations: from Edom, Moab, the sons of Ammon, the Philistines, and from Amalek.
