And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the dedicated things that is brought into the house of the LORD,[ even] the money of every one that passeth[ the account], the money that every man is set at,[ and] all the money that cometh into any man’s heart to bring into the house of the LORD,

約阿施謂諸祭司曰、凡輸入耶和華室、區別為聖之物、所值通用之金、或各人所估身價之金、或從心所願、輸於耶和華室之金、

約轄告眾祭司曰、凡獻物攜金入耶和華殿者、即核民之金、與人為祭司所估之價、暨人從心所願、樂輸於耶和華殿之金。

Joash said to the priests,“ Collect all the money that is brought as sacred offerings to the temple of the Lord— the money collected in the census, the money received from personal vows and the money brought voluntarily to the temple.

Joash spoke to the priests. He said,“ Collect all the money the people bring as sacred offerings to the Lord’ s temple. That includes the money collected when the men who are able to serve in the army are counted. It includes the money received from people who make a special promise to the Lord. It also includes the money people bring to the temple just because they want to.

Jehoash said to the priests,“ All the money of the holy things that is brought into the house of the Lord, the money for which each man is assessed— the money from the assessment of persons— and the money that a man’s heart prompts him to bring into the house of the Lord,

One day King Joash said to the priests,“ Collect all the money brought as a sacred offering to the Lord’s Temple, whether it is a regular assessment, a payment of vows, or a voluntary gift.

Then Joash said to the priests,“ All the dedicated silver brought to the LORD’s temple, census silver, silver from vows, and all silver voluntarily given for the LORD’s temple—

Then Jehoash said to the priests,“ All the money of the sacred offerings which is brought into the house of the Lord, in current money, both the money of each man’s assessment and all the money which anyone’s heart prompts him to bring into the house of the Lord,

And Jehoash said to the priests,“ All the money of the dedicated gifts that are brought into the house of the Lord— each man’s census money, each man’s assessment money— and all the money that a man purposes in his heart to bring into the house of the Lord,

And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the hallowed things that is brought into the house of Jehovah, in current money, the money of the persons for whom each man is rated, and all the money that it cometh into any man’s heart to bring into the house of Jehovah,

Then Joash said to the priests,“ All the dedicated money brought to the Lord’s temple, census money, money from vows, and all money voluntarily given for the Lord’s temple,

Jehoash said to the priests,“ I place at your disposal all the consecrated silver that has been brought to the LORD’s temple, including the silver collected from the census tax, the silver received from those who have made vows, and all the silver that people have voluntarily contributed to the LORD’s temple.

Jehoash said to the priests,“ All the money of the holy things that is brought into Yahweh’s house, in current money, the money of the people for whom each man is evaluated, and all the money that it comes into any man’s heart to bring into Yahweh’s house,

Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may sum the silver which is brought into the house of the LORD, which the keepers of the door have gathered of the people:

Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever[ is] of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,

Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver,[ which] I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,[ Even] three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses[ withal]:The gold for[ things] of gold, and the silver for[ things] of silver, and for all manner of work[ to be made] by the hands of artificers. And who[ then] is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king’s work, offered willingly,And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.And they with whom[ precious] stones were found gave[ them] to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted,[ and] brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered[ offered] an offering of gold unto the LORD.

When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when[ thou] numberest them.This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary:( a shekel[ is] twenty gerahs:) an half shekel[ shall be] the offering of the LORD.Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD.The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when[ they] give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.

For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

And brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated[ things] faithfully: over which Cononiah the Levite[ was] ruler, and Shimei his brother[ was] the next.

And he brought into the house of God the things that his father had dedicated, and that he himself had dedicated, silver, and gold, and vessels.

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons[ shall be] for the LORD by thy estimation.And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.And if it[ be] a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.And if[ it be] from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.And if[ it be] from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation[ shall be] three shekels of silver.And if[ it be] from sixty years old and above; if[ it be] a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.

If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.

I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.

And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the east street,And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy[ place].For our fathers have trespassed, and done[ that which was] evil in the eyes of the LORD our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned[ their] backs.Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy[ place] unto the God of Israel.Wherefore the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as ye see with your eyes.For, lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives[ are] in captivity for this.Now[ it is] in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should minister unto him, and burn incense.

And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it,[ who art] the priest, so shall it be.But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth[ part] thereof unto thy estimation.And when a man shall sanctify his house[ to be] holy unto the LORD, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth[ part] of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD[ some part] of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed[ shall be valued] at fifty shekels of silver.If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand.But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth[ part] of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the LORD, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest’s.And if[ a man] sanctify unto the LORD a field which he hath bought, which[ is] not of the fields of his possession;Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation,[ even] unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day,[ as] a holy thing unto the LORD.In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought,[ even] to him to whom the possession of the land[ did belong].And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the LORD’S firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether[ it be] ox, or sheep: it[ is] the LORD’S.And if[ it be] of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem[ it] according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth[ part] of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.

And he set the priests in their charges, and encouraged them to the service of the house of the LORD,

And all they that[ were] about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all[ that] was willingly offered.

They gave after their ability unto the treasure of the work threescore and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pound of silver, and one hundred priests’ garments.

And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels,[ even] the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his lords, and all Israel[ there] present, had offered:I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents,[ and] of gold an hundred talents;Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold.And I said unto them, Ye[ are] holy unto the LORD; the vessels[ are] holy also; and the silver and the gold[ are] a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.

And all the silver and gold that thou canst find in all the province of Babylon, with the freewill offering of the people, and of the priests, offering willingly for the house of their God which[ is] in Jerusalem:

And if a man will at all redeem[ ought] of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth[ part] thereof.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.

And they made a proclamation through Judah and Jerusalem, to bring in to the LORD the collection[ that] Moses the servant of God[ laid] upon Israel in the wilderness.And all the princes and all the people rejoiced, and brought in, and cast into the chest, until they had made an end.

But Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.

And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it[ withal]. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.

And Jehoash king of Judah took all the hallowed things that Jehoshaphat, and Jehoram, and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own hallowed things, and all the gold[ that was] found in the treasures of the house of the LORD, and in the king’s house, and sent[ it] to Hazael king of Syria: and he went away from Jerusalem.

Them also king David dedicated unto the LORD, with the silver and the gold that he brought from all[ these] nations; from Edom, and from Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek.
