And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the hallowed things that is brought into the house of Jehovah, in current money, the money of the persons for whom each man is rated, and all the money that it cometh into any man’s heart to bring into the house of Jehovah,

約轄告眾祭司曰、凡獻物攜金入耶和華殿者、即核民之金、與人為祭司所估之價、暨人從心所願、樂輸於耶和華殿之金。

Joash said to the priests,“ Collect all the money that is brought as sacred offerings to the temple of the Lord— the money collected in the census, the money received from personal vows and the money brought voluntarily to the temple.

Joash spoke to the priests. He said,“ Collect all the money the people bring as sacred offerings to the Lord’ s temple. That includes the money collected when the men who are able to serve in the army are counted. It includes the money received from people who make a special promise to the Lord. It also includes the money people bring to the temple just because they want to.

Jehoash said to the priests,“ All the money of the holy things that is brought into the house of the Lord, the money for which each man is assessed— the money from the assessment of persons— and the money that a man’s heart prompts him to bring into the house of the Lord,

One day King Joash said to the priests,“ Collect all the money brought as a sacred offering to the Lord’s Temple, whether it is a regular assessment, a payment of vows, or a voluntary gift.

Then Joash said to the priests,“ All the dedicated silver brought to the LORD’s temple, census silver, silver from vows, and all silver voluntarily given for the LORD’s temple—

Then Jehoash said to the priests,“ All the money of the sacred offerings which is brought into the house of the Lord, in current money, both the money of each man’s assessment and all the money which anyone’s heart prompts him to bring into the house of the Lord,

And Jehoash said to the priests,“ All the money of the dedicated gifts that are brought into the house of the Lord— each man’s census money, each man’s assessment money— and all the money that a man purposes in his heart to bring into the house of the Lord,

Then Joash said to the priests,“ All the dedicated money brought to the Lord’s temple, census money, money from vows, and all money voluntarily given for the Lord’s temple,

And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the dedicated things that is brought into the house of the LORD,[ even] the money of every one that passeth[ the account], the money that every man is set at,[ and] all the money that cometh into any man’s heart to bring into the house of the LORD,

Jehoash said to the priests,“ I place at your disposal all the consecrated silver that has been brought to the LORD’s temple, including the silver collected from the census tax, the silver received from those who have made vows, and all the silver that people have voluntarily contributed to the LORD’s temple.

Jehoash said to the priests,“ All the money of the holy things that is brought into Yahweh’s house, in current money, the money of the people for whom each man is evaluated, and all the money that it comes into any man’s heart to bring into Yahweh’s house,

Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may sum the money which is brought into the house of Jehovah, which the keepers of the threshold have gathered of the people:

Take ye from among you an offering unto Jehovah; whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, Jehovah’s offering: gold, and silver, and brass,

Moreover also, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, seeing that I have a treasure of mine own of gold and silver, I give it unto the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, wherewith to overlay the walls of the houses;of gold for the things of gold, and of silver for the things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. Who then offereth willingly to consecrate himself this day unto Jehovah?Then the princes of the fathers’ houses, and the princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers over the king’s work, offered willingly;and they gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand darics, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and of iron a hundred thousand talents.And they with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of Jehovah, under the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with a perfect heart they offered willingly to Jehovah: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

The children of Israel brought a freewill- offering unto Jehovah; every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all the work, which Jehovah had commanded to be made by Moses.

And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing- hearted, and brought brooches, and ear- rings, and signet- rings, and armlets, all jewels of gold; even every man that offered an offering of gold unto Jehovah.

When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel, according to those that are numbered of them, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto Jehovah, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them.This they shall give, every one that passeth over unto them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary;( the shekel is twenty gerahs;) half a shekel for an offering to Jehovah.Every one that passeth over unto them that are numbered, from twenty years old and upward, shall give the offering of Jehovah.The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than the half shekel, when they give the offering of Jehovah, to make atonement for your souls.And thou shalt take the atonement money from the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tent of meeting; that it may be a memorial for the children of Israel before Jehovah, to make atonement for your souls.

for all these did of their superfluity cast in unto the gifts; but she of her want did cast in all the living that she had.

and they brought in the oblations and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully. And over them Conaniah the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother was second;

And he brought into the house of God the things that his father had dedicated, and that he himself had dedicated, silver, and gold, and vessels.

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall accomplish a vow, the persons shall be for Jehovah by thy estimation.And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.And if it be from sixty years old and upward; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall be set before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to the ability of him that vowed shall the priest value him.

If any one commit a trespass, and sin unwittingly, in the holy things of Jehovah; then he shall bring his trespass- offering unto Jehovah, a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to thy estimation in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass- offering:and he shall make restitution for that which he hath done amiss in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass- offering, and he shall be forgiven.

I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, that are present here, offer willingly unto thee.

And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the broad place on the east,and said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites; now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of Jehovah, the God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of Jehovah, and turned their backs.Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt- offerings in the holy place unto the God of Israel.Wherefore the wrath of Jehovah was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them to be tossed to and fro, to be an astonishment, and a hissing, as ye see with your eyes.For, lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with Jehovah, the God of Israel, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.My sons, be not now negligent; for Jehovah hath chosen you to stand before him, to minister unto him, and that ye should be his ministers, and burn incense.

and the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou the priest valuest it, so shall it be.But if he will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto Jehovah, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.And if a man shall sanctify unto Jehovah part of the field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the sowing thereof: the sowing of a homer of barley shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.If he sanctify his field from the year of jubilee, according to thy estimation it shall stand.But if he sanctify his field after the jubilee, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain unto the year of jubilee; and an abatement shall be made from thy estimation.And if he that sanctified the field will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more:but the field, when it goeth out in the jubilee, shall be holy unto Jehovah, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest’s.And if he sanctify unto Jehovah a field which he hath bought, which is not of the field of his possession;then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation unto the year of jubilee: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto Jehovah.In the year of jubilee the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land belongeth.And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.Only the firstling among beasts, which is made a firstling to Jehovah, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox or sheep, it is Jehovah’s.And if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall ransom it according to thine estimation, and shall add unto it the fifth part thereof: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.

And he set the priests in their offices, and encouraged them to the service of the house of Jehovah.

And all they that were round about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered.

they gave after their ability into the treasury of the work threescore and one thousand darics of gold, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests’ garments.

and weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering for the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his princes, and all Israel there present, had offered:I weighed into their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels a hundred talents; of gold a hundred talents;and twenty bowls of gold, of a thousand darics; and two vessels of fine bright brass, precious as gold.And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto Jehovah, and the vessels are holy; and the silver and the gold are a freewill- offering unto Jehovah, the God of your fathers.

and all the silver and gold that thou shalt find in all the province of Babylon, with the freewill- offering of the people, and of the priests, offering willingly for the house of their God which is in Jerusalem;

And if a man will redeem aught of his tithe, he shall add unto it the fifth part thereof.

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,Speak unto the children of Israel, that they take for me an offering: of every man whose heart maketh him willing ye shall take my offering.

And they made a proclamation through Judah and Jerusalem, to bring in for Jehovah the tax that Moses the servant of God laid upon Israel in the wilderness.And all the princes and all the people rejoiced, and brought in, and cast into the chest, until they had made an end.

And Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.

and they received of Moses all the offering which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, wherewith to make it. And they brought yet unto him freewill- offerings every morning.

And Jehoash king of Judah took all the hallowed things that Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own hallowed things, and all the gold that was found in the treasures of the house of Jehovah, and of the king’s house, and sent it to Hazael king of Syria: and he went away from Jerusalem.

These also did king David dedicate unto Jehovah, with the silver and the gold that he carried away from all the nations; from Edom, and from Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek.
