皆從同宗顯者、發誓設詛、必遵上帝僕摩西所傳上帝之律、守我主耶和華一切誡命、律例典章、

眾曰、我必反之、不取於彼、咸遵爾言、我遂召祭司至、使眾發誓、踐其所許、

二人乃於耶和華前立約、大衛居林、約拿單歸其家、

殿司及諸隸往引之來、而不用強、蓋懼民以石擊之也、

約拿單與大衛結約、愛之如命故也、

殿司及祭司諸長聞之、甚為煩難、不知事將若何、

及其昆弟、一千七百六十人、皆為族長、最能供上帝室之役、○

緣此、我立盟約、書之於籍、我之牧伯、利未人祭司、鈐之以印、
