此後，我聽見好像有一大羣人在天上大聲說：「哈利路亞！救恩、榮耀、權能都屬於我們的神。他的判斷又真實又公義；因他判斷了那大淫婦，她用淫行敗壞了世界。神為他的僕人伸冤，向淫婦討流僕人血的罪。」他們又一次說：「哈利路亞！燒淫婦的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠。」那二十四位長老和四活物就俯伏敬拜坐在寶座上的神，說：「阿們。哈利路亞！」接着，有聲音從寶座出來說：「神的眾僕人哪，凡敬畏他的，無論大小，都要讚美我們的神！」我聽見好像一大羣人的聲音，像眾水的聲音，像大雷的聲音，說：「哈利路亞！因為主－我們的神、全能者，作王了。我們要歡喜快樂，將榮耀歸給他；因為羔羊的婚期到了，他的新娘也自己預備好了，

義人增多，民就喜樂；惡人掌權，民就嘆息。

耶和華吩咐摩西說：「你要用銀子做兩枝號筒，把它們錘出來，給你用來召集會眾，拔營起行。吹號的時候，全會眾要到你那裏，聚集在會幕的門口。若只吹一枝，眾領袖，就是以色列部隊的官長，要到你那裏聚集。你們大聲吹號的時候，東邊安營的要起行。第二次大聲吹號的時候，南邊安營的要起行。起行的時候，要大聲吹號；但召集會眾的時候，你們要吹號，卻不要吹出大聲。亞倫子孫作祭司的要吹這號筒，作為你們世世代代永遠的定例。當你們在自己的土地上，與欺壓你們的敵人打仗時，要用號筒吹出大聲。你們就在耶和華－你們的神面前得蒙記念，也必蒙拯救脫離仇敵。在快樂的日子，節期和初一，獻燔祭與平安祭的時候，你們要吹號筒，在你們的神面前作為紀念。我是耶和華－你們的神。」

他們就撕裂衣服，各人把馱子抬在驢上，回城去了。

祭司就把耶和華殿裏所藏大衛王的槍和盾牌交給百夫長。護衛兵手中各拿兵器，在祭壇和殿那裏，從殿南到殿北，站在王的四圍。

呂便回到坑旁，看哪，約瑟不在坑裏，就撕裂自己的衣服，

他們附近的人，以及以薩迦、西布倫、拿弗他利人，都將食物，許多麵餅、無花果餅、乾葡萄、酒、油，用驢、駱駝、騾子、牛馱來，又帶了許多的牛和羊來，因為在以色列中充滿了歡樂。

亞哈謝的母親亞她利雅見她兒子死了，就起來剿滅王室所有的後裔。但約蘭王的女兒，亞哈謝的妹妹約示巴，將亞哈謝的兒子約阿施從被殺的王子中偷出來，把他和他的奶媽藏在臥房裏，躲避了亞她利雅，沒有被殺。

亞哈見了以利亞，就說：「真的是你嗎？你這使以色列遭殃的人！」以利亞說：「使以色列遭殃的不是我，而是你和你的父家，因為你們離棄耶和華的誡命，去隨從巴力。
