此後，我聽見好像羣眾在天上大聲說：哈利路亞！救恩、榮耀、權能都屬乎我們的神！他的判斷是真實公義的；因他判斷了那用淫行敗壞世界的大淫婦，並且向淫婦討流僕人血的罪，給他們伸冤。又說：哈利路亞！燒淫婦的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠。那二十四位長老與四活物就俯伏敬拜坐寶座的神，說：阿們！哈利路亞！有聲音從寶座出來說：神的眾僕人哪，凡敬畏他的，無論大小，都要讚美我們的神！我聽見好像羣眾的聲音，眾水的聲音，大雷的聲音，說：哈利路亞！因為主－我們的神、全能者作王了。我們要歡喜快樂，將榮耀歸給他。因為，羔羊婚娶的時候到了；新婦也自己預備好了，

義人增多，民就喜樂；惡人掌權，民就歎息。

耶和華曉諭摩西說：「你要用銀子做兩枝號，都要錘出來的，用以招聚會眾，並叫眾營起行。吹這號的時候，全會眾要到你那裏，聚集在會幕門口。若單吹一枝，眾首領，就是以色列軍中的統領，要聚集到你那裏。吹出大聲的時候，東邊安的營都要起行。二次吹出大聲的時候，南邊安的營都要起行。他們將起行，必吹出大聲。但招聚會眾的時候，你們要吹號，卻不要吹出大聲。亞倫子孫作祭司的要吹這號；這要作你們世世代代永遠的定例。你們在自己的地，與欺壓你們的敵人打仗，就要用號吹出大聲，便在耶和華－你們的神面前得蒙紀念，也蒙拯救脫離仇敵。在你們快樂的日子和節期，並月朔，獻燔祭和平安祭，也要吹號，這都要在你們的神面前作為紀念。我是耶和華－你們的神。」

他們就撕裂衣服，各人把馱子擡在驢上，回城去了。

祭司便將耶和華殿裏所藏大衛王的槍和盾牌交給百夫長。護衛兵手中各拿兵器，在壇和殿那裏，從殿右直到殿左，站在王子的四圍。

呂便回到坑邊，見約瑟不在坑裏，就撕裂衣服，

靠近他們的人以及以薩迦、西布倫、拿弗他利人將許多麵餅、無花果餅、乾葡萄、酒、油，用驢、駱駝、騾子、牛馱來，又帶了許多的牛和羊來，因為以色列人甚是歡樂。

亞哈謝的母親亞她利雅見她兒子死了，就起來剿滅王室。但約蘭王的女兒，亞哈謝的妹子約示巴，將亞哈謝的兒子約阿施從那被殺的王子中偷出來，把他和他的乳母都藏在臥房裏，躲避亞她利雅，免得被殺。

亞哈見了以利亞，便說：「使以色列遭災的就是你嗎？」以利亞說：「使以色列遭災的不是我，乃是你和你父家；因為你們離棄耶和華的誡命，去隨從巴力。
