義人增多，萬眾歡騰；惡人得勢，萬民歎息。

耶和華對摩西說：「你要用銀子打造兩支號，用來招聚會眾和發出拔營的號令。吹響兩支號時，全體會眾要聚集到你那裡，即會幕門口。如果只吹響一支號，擔任首領的以色列各族長要聚集到你那裡。如果吹響拔營的號令，在東面紮營的就要啟行；第二次吹響拔營號令時，在南面紮營的就要啟行。拔營號令是啟行的信號。但吹號招聚會眾時，不要用拔營號令。做祭司的亞倫子孫要負責吹號，這是世代不變的律例。當你們在自己的土地上跟敵人作戰時，要吹號，你們的上帝耶和華必眷顧你們，救你們脫離敵人。在節期和朔日這些歡樂的日子獻燔祭和平安祭的時候，你們要吹號，好在你們的上帝面前蒙眷顧。我是你們的上帝耶和華。」

他們傷心地撕裂衣服，把東西放回驢背上，返回城裡。

耶何耶大把耶和華殿中大衛王的矛槍和盾牌交給百夫長。從殿右到殿左，在祭壇和殿周圍，衛兵都手持兵器護衛王。

呂便回到井邊發現約瑟不見了，就傷心地撕裂了身上的衣服，

亞哈謝的母親亞她利雅見兒子死了，便決定除掉王室後裔。但約蘭王的女兒、亞哈謝的妹妹約示芭把亞哈謝的兒子約阿施從被殺的王子中偷出來，將他和乳母藏在一間臥室裡，才躲過亞她利雅，使約阿施沒有被殺。

見到以利亞後，就說：「給以色列帶來災禍的就是你嗎？」以利亞回答說：「給以色列帶來災禍的不是我，而是你和你父親家，因為你們拋棄耶和華的誡命，去隨從巴力。
