And the Lord said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in doing what is right in My sight, and have done to the house of Ahab all that was in My heart, your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.”

耶和华对耶户说：“因你办好我眼中看为正的事，照我的心意待亚哈家，你的子孙必接续你坐以色列的国位，直到四代。”

耶和华对耶户说：“因你办好我眼中看为正的事，照我的心意待亚哈家，你的子孙必接续你坐以色列的王位，直到第四代。”

耶和华对耶户说：“因你办好我眼中看为正的事，照我的心意待亚哈家，你的子孙必接续你坐以色列的王位，直到第四代。”

耶和华对耶户说：“你已经做了我视为正的事，照我的意思除掉了亚哈一家，因此你的子孙必做以色列王，直到第四代。”

耶和华对耶户说：“因为你办好了我看为正的事，照我的一切心意对付亚哈家，你的子孙要坐在以色列的王位上，直到第四代。”

耶和華對耶戶說：「因你辦好我眼中看為正的事，照我的心意待亞哈家，你的子孫必接續你坐以色列的國位，直到四代。」

耶和華對耶戶說：「因你辦好我眼中看為正的事，照我的心意待亞哈家，你的子孫必接續你坐以色列的王位，直到第四代。」

耶和華對耶戶說：「因你辦好我眼中看為正的事，照我的心意待亞哈家，你的子孫必接續你坐以色列的王位，直到第四代。」

耶和華對耶戶說：「你已經做了我視為正的事，照我的意思除掉了亞哈一家，因此你的子孫必做以色列王，直到第四代。」

耶和華對耶戶說：“因為你辦好了我看為正的事，照我的一切心意對付亞哈家，你的子孫要坐在以色列的王位上，直到第四代。”

永恆主對耶戶說：『因你將我所看為對的事辦好，照我的心意待亞哈家，你的子孫到第四代都必坐以色列的王位。

耶和華諭耶戶曰、因爾行我所視為善者、依我心意、待亞哈家、爾之子孫必居以色列國位、歷至四世、

耶和華謂耶戶曰、因爾待亞哈全家、從我所欲、故以為善、爾之子孫、必繼以色列國位、歷至四代。

主諭耶戶曰、因爾行善、待亞哈家乃循我心意、行我所悅之事、爾之子孫、必繼以色列國位、歷至四世、

The Lord said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in accomplishing what is right in my eyes and have done to the house of Ahab all I had in mind to do, your descendants will sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.”

The Lord said to Jehu,“ You have done well. You have accomplished what is right in my eyes. You have done to Ahab’s royal house everything I wanted you to do. So your sons after you will sit on the throne of Israel. They will rule until the time of your children’s grandchildren.”

And the Lord said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in carrying out what is right in my eyes, and have done to the house of Ahab according to all that was in my heart, your sons of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.”

Nonetheless the Lord said to Jehu,“ You have done well in following my instructions to destroy the family of Ahab. Therefore, your descendants will be kings of Israel down to the fourth generation.”

Nevertheless, the LORD said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in carrying out what is right in my sight and have done to the house of Ahab all that was in my heart, four generations of your sons will sit on the throne of Israel.”

Yet the Lord said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in performing what is right in My eyes, and have done to the house of Ahab in accordance with everything that was in My heart, your sons to the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.”

And Jehovah said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in mine eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in my heart, thy sons of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.

Nevertheless, the Lord said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in carrying out what is right in My sight and have done to the house of Ahab all that was in My heart, four generations of your sons will sit on the throne of Israel.”

And the LORD said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing[ that which is] right in mine eyes,[ and] hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that[ was] in mine heart, thy children of the fourth[ generation] shall sit on the throne of Israel.

The LORD said to Jehu,“ You have done well. You have accomplished my will and carried out my wishes with regard to Ahab’s dynasty. Therefore four generations of your descendants will rule over Israel.”

Yahweh said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in executing that which is right in my eyes, and have done to Ahab’s house according to all that was in my heart, your descendants shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.”

So Jehu rested with his fathers, and they buried him in Samaria. Then Jehoahaz his son reigned in his place.

In the fifteenth year of Amaziah the son of Joash, king of Judah, Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, became king in Samaria, and reigned forty-one years.

In the thirty-seventh year of Joash king of Judah, Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz became king over Israel in Samaria, and reigned sixteen years.

In the twenty-third year of Joash the son of Ahaziah, king of Judah, Jehoahaz the son of Jehu became king over Israel in Samaria, and reigned seventeen years.

Then the Lord said to him:“ Call his name Jezreel, For in a little while I will avenge the bloodshed of Jezreel on the house of Jehu, And bring an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel.

“ See how Ahab has humbled himself before Me? Because he has humbled himself before Me, I will not bring the calamity in his days. In the days of his son I will bring the calamity on his house.”

Now the Lord sent you on a mission, and said,‘ Go, and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are consumed.’Why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord? Why did you swoop down on the spoil, and do evil in the sight of the Lord?”And Saul said to Samuel,“ But I have obeyed the voice of the Lord, and gone on the mission on which the Lord sent me, and brought back Agag king of Amalek; I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the Lord your God in Gilgal.”So Samuel said:“ Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.”Then Saul said to Samuel,“ I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.

In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah the son of Jeroboam reigned over Israel in Samaria six months.And he did evil in the sight of the Lord, as his fathers had done; he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who had made Israel sin.Then Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and struck and killed him in front of the people; and he reigned in his place.Now the rest of the acts of Zechariah, indeed they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.This was the word of the Lord which He spoke to Jehu, saying,“ Your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.” And so it was.

I will make your house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, because of the provocation with which you have provoked Me to anger, and made Israel sin.’

“ Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon caused his army to labor strenuously against Tyre; every head was made bald, and every shoulder rubbed raw; yet neither he nor his army received wages from Tyre, for the labor which they expended on it.Therefore thus says the Lord God:‘ Surely I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; he shall take away her wealth, carry off her spoil, and remove her pillage; and that will be the wages for his army.I have given him the land of Egypt for his labor, because they worked for Me,’ says the Lord GOD.

Then he said to him,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ Because you have let slip out of your hand a man whom I appointed to utter destruction, therefore your life shall go for his life, and your people for his people.’”
