And the LORD said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing[ that which is] right in mine eyes,[ and] hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that[ was] in mine heart, thy children of the fourth[ generation] shall sit on the throne of Israel.

耶和华对耶户说：“因你办好我眼中看为正的事，照我的心意待亚哈家，你的子孙必接续你坐以色列的国位，直到四代。”

耶和华对耶户说：“因你办好我眼中看为正的事，照我的心意待亚哈家，你的子孙必接续你坐以色列的王位，直到第四代。”

耶和华对耶户说：“因你办好我眼中看为正的事，照我的心意待亚哈家，你的子孙必接续你坐以色列的王位，直到第四代。”

耶和华对耶户说：“你已经做了我视为正的事，照我的意思除掉了亚哈一家，因此你的子孙必做以色列王，直到第四代。”

耶和华对耶户说：“因为你办好了我看为正的事，照我的一切心意对付亚哈家，你的子孙要坐在以色列的王位上，直到第四代。”

耶和華對耶戶說：「因你辦好我眼中看為正的事，照我的心意待亞哈家，你的子孫必接續你坐以色列的國位，直到四代。」

耶和華對耶戶說：「因你辦好我眼中看為正的事，照我的心意待亞哈家，你的子孫必接續你坐以色列的王位，直到第四代。」

耶和華對耶戶說：「因你辦好我眼中看為正的事，照我的心意待亞哈家，你的子孫必接續你坐以色列的王位，直到第四代。」

耶和華對耶戶說：「你已經做了我視為正的事，照我的意思除掉了亞哈一家，因此你的子孫必做以色列王，直到第四代。」

耶和華對耶戶說：“因為你辦好了我看為正的事，照我的一切心意對付亞哈家，你的子孫要坐在以色列的王位上，直到第四代。”

永恆主對耶戶說：『因你將我所看為對的事辦好，照我的心意待亞哈家，你的子孫到第四代都必坐以色列的王位。

耶和華諭耶戶曰、因爾行我所視為善者、依我心意、待亞哈家、爾之子孫必居以色列國位、歷至四世、

耶和華謂耶戶曰、因爾待亞哈全家、從我所欲、故以為善、爾之子孫、必繼以色列國位、歷至四代。

主諭耶戶曰、因爾行善、待亞哈家乃循我心意、行我所悅之事、爾之子孫、必繼以色列國位、歷至四世、

The Lord said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in accomplishing what is right in my eyes and have done to the house of Ahab all I had in mind to do, your descendants will sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.”

The Lord said to Jehu,“ You have done well. You have accomplished what is right in my eyes. You have done to Ahab’s royal house everything I wanted you to do. So your sons after you will sit on the throne of Israel. They will rule until the time of your children’s grandchildren.”

And the Lord said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in carrying out what is right in my eyes, and have done to the house of Ahab according to all that was in my heart, your sons of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.”

Nonetheless the Lord said to Jehu,“ You have done well in following my instructions to destroy the family of Ahab. Therefore, your descendants will be kings of Israel down to the fourth generation.”

Nevertheless, the LORD said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in carrying out what is right in my sight and have done to the house of Ahab all that was in my heart, four generations of your sons will sit on the throne of Israel.”

Yet the Lord said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in performing what is right in My eyes, and have done to the house of Ahab in accordance with everything that was in My heart, your sons to the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.”

And the Lord said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in doing what is right in My sight, and have done to the house of Ahab all that was in My heart, your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.”

And Jehovah said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in mine eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in my heart, thy sons of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.

Nevertheless, the Lord said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in carrying out what is right in My sight and have done to the house of Ahab all that was in My heart, four generations of your sons will sit on the throne of Israel.”

The LORD said to Jehu,“ You have done well. You have accomplished my will and carried out my wishes with regard to Ahab’s dynasty. Therefore four generations of your descendants will rule over Israel.”

Yahweh said to Jehu,“ Because you have done well in executing that which is right in my eyes, and have done to Ahab’s house according to all that was in my heart, your descendants shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.”

And Jehu slept with his fathers: and they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son reigned in his stead.

In the fifteenth year of Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel began to reign in Samaria,[ and reigned] forty and one years.

In the thirty and seventh year of Joash king of Judah began Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz to reign over Israel in Samaria,[ and reigned] sixteen years.

In the three and twentieth year of Joash the son of Ahaziah king of Judah Jehoahaz the son of Jehu began to reign over Israel in Samaria,[ and reigned] seventeen years.

And the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little[ while], and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.

Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days:[ but] in his son’s days will I bring the evil upon his house.

And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.And Samuel said, Hath the LORD[ as great] delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey[ is] better than sacrifice,[ and] to hearken than the fat of rams.For rebellion[ is as] the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness[ is as] iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from[ being] king.And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.And he did[ that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and smote him before the people, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.And the rest of the acts of Zachariah, behold, they[ are] written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.This[ was] the word of the LORD which he spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons shall sit on the throne of Israel unto the fourth[ generation]. And so it came to pass.

And will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked[ me] to anger, and made Israel to sin.

Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head[ was] made bald, and every shoulder[ was] peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.I have given him the land of Egypt[ for] his labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord GOD.

And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Because thou hast let go out of[ thy] hand a man whom I appointed to utter destruction, therefore thy life shall go for his life, and thy people for his people.
