Jehu said,“ Call an assembly in honor of Baal.” So they proclaimed it.

Jehu said,“ Call everyone together to honor Baal.” So they did.

And Jehu ordered,“ Sanctify a solemn assembly for Baal.” So they proclaimed it.

Then Jehu ordered,“ Prepare a solemn assembly to worship Baal!” So they did.

Jehu commanded,“ Consecrate a solemn assembly for Baal.” So they called one.

And Jehu said,“ Proclaim a solemn assembly for Baal.” So they proclaimed it.

And Jehu said, Sanctify a solemn assembly for Baal. And they proclaimed it.

And Jehu said, Proclaim a solemn assembly for Baal. And they proclaimed[ it].

Then Jehu ordered,“ Make arrangements for a celebration for Baal.” So they announced it.

Jehu said,“ Sanctify a solemn assembly for Baal!” So they proclaimed it.

Consecrate a fast, Proclaim a solemn assembly; Gather the elders And all the inhabitants of the land To the house of the Lord your God, And cry out to the Lord.

Now when Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of it; and Aaron made a proclamation and said,“ Tomorrow shall be a feast to the Lord.”

Now then, send orders and gather to me all Israel at Mount Carmel, together with 450 prophets of Baal and four hundred prophets of the Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”So Ahab sent orders among all the sons of Israel and brought the prophets together at Mount Carmel.

They proclaimed a fast, and seated Naboth at the head of the people.
