Now there were in Samaria seventy sons of the house of Ahab. So Jehu wrote letters and sent them to Samaria: to the officials of Jezreel, to the elders and to the guardians of Ahab’s children. He said,

Ahab’s royal family in the city of Samaria had a total of 70 sons. Jehu wrote some letters to the officials of the city. He also sent them to the elders there. And he sent them to the people who took care of Ahab’s children. Jehu said,

Now Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. So Jehu wrote letters and sent them to Samaria, to the rulers of the city, to the elders, and to the guardians of the sons of Ahab, saying,

Ahab had seventy sons living in the city of Samaria. So Jehu wrote letters and sent them to Samaria, to the elders and officials of the city, and to the guardians of King Ahab’s sons. He said,

Since Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria, Jehu wrote letters and sent them to Samaria to the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to the guardians of Ahab’s sons, saying:

Ahab had seventy sons living in Samaria. So Jehu wrote letters and sent them to Samaria to the leading officials of Jezreel and to the guardians of Ahab’s dynasty. This is what the letters said,

Now Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. Jehu wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, to the rulers of Jezreel, even the elders, and to those who brought up Ahab’s sons, saying,

暗利跟他列祖一同長眠，埋葬在撒瑪利亞；他兒子亞哈接替他作王。

基甸有七十個兒子、都是他親生的，因為他有許多妻子。

『你要在永恆主你的上帝所賜給你的各城內、按着你的族派、為自己設立審判官和官吏；他們要按公義的判斷審判人民。

暗利用兩擔銀子向撒瑪買了撒瑪利亞山；把山加以建造，就按山的原主撒瑪的名字給所建造的城起名叫撒瑪利亞。

她對她主母說：『巴不得我主人就在撒瑪利亞的神言人面前呢！那麼他就能使主人復原、沒有痲瘋屬之病了。』

他有三十個兒子、騎着三十匹驢駒；他們有三十座城，直到今日還叫做哈倭特睚珥，都是在基列地。

他有四十個兒子、三十個孫子、騎着七十匹驢駒；押頓作了士師八年、來拯救以色列。

於是她用亞哈的名義寫文書，將王的印章印上，把文書送給拿伯城裏的長老和顯貴人、那些和拿伯同住一城的人。文書上寫着說：『你們要宣告禁食，叫拿伯坐在民間的首位上，又叫兩個無賴子一類的人坐在拿伯對面，作見證告他說：「你曾經謗讟上帝和王」；隨即把他拉出去、拿石頭打他、打到他死去。』拿伯城裏的人、那些在他城裏居住的長老和顯貴的人、就照耶洗別所送給他們的文書去行。他們照送給他們的文書裏所寫的宣告禁食，叫拿伯坐在民間的首位上。有兩個無賴子一類的人來，坐在拿伯對面；無賴子當着眾民面前作見證告拿伯說：『拿伯曾經謗讟上帝和王』；眾人就把他拉出城外，拿石頭打他打到死。於是打發人去見耶洗別，說：『拿伯被石頭打到死了。』

亞哈謝藏匿在撒瑪利亞地；耶戶尋找他；人將他捉住，送到耶戶那裏去殺他。他們將他埋葬了，因為他們說：『他是約沙法的孫子：約沙法又是全心尋求永恆主的。』這樣、亞哈謝的家就沒有能保持國權的了。
