The king asked the messengers,“ What kind of man came to see you? Who told you these things?”

王对他们说：“那上来迎着你们，又对你们说这番话的是个怎样的人？”

王問他們說：「迎着你們來告訴你們這話的，是怎樣的人？」

王對他們說：「上來迎見你們，告訴你們這些話的人是甚麼樣子呢？」

王對他們說：「上來迎見你們，告訴你們這些話的人是甚麼樣子呢？」

王又問他們：「在路上截住你們、對你們說這些話的，是什麼樣的人？」

王對他們說：“那上來迎著你們，又對你們說這番話的是個怎樣的人？”

王問他們說：『那迎着你們而上來、將這些話告訴你們的、是甚麼樣的人？』

曰、迎爾而告以斯言者、其人形狀如何、

曰、迓爾而告以此言者、其人若何。

The king asked them,“ What kind of man was it who came to meet you and told you this?”

He said to them,“ What kind of man was he who came to meet you and told you these things?”

“ What sort of man was he?” the king demanded.“ What did he look like?”

The king asked them,“ What sort of man came up to meet you and spoke those words to you?”

Then he said to them,“ What did the man look like, who came up to meet you and spoke these words to you?”

Then he said to them,“ What kind of man was it who came up to meet you and told you these words?”

And he said unto them, What manner of man was he that came up to meet you, and told you these words?

The king asked them,“ What sort of man came up to meet you and spoke those words to you?”

And he said unto them, What manner of man[ was he] which came up to meet you, and told you these words?

The king asked them,“ Describe the appearance of this man who came up to meet you and told you these things.”

He said to them,“ What kind of man was he who came up to meet you, and told you these words?”

Then he spoke to Zebah and Zalmunna. He asked,“ What were the men like that you killed at Tabor?”“ Men like you,” they answered.“ Each one walked as if he were a prince.”
