Now, therefore, this is what the Lord says: You will never leave the bed you are lying on; you will surely die.’” So Elijah went to deliver the message.

Therefore this is what the Lord says:‘ You will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!’” So Elijah went.

The Lord says to Ahaziah,‘ You will never leave the bed you are lying on. You can be sure that you will die!’ ” So Elijah went to see the messengers.

Now therefore thus says the Lord, You shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.’” So Elijah went.

Therefore, this is what the LORD says: You will not get up from your sickbed; you will certainly die.’” Then Elijah left.

Now therefore, this is what the Lord says:‘ You will not get down from the bed upon which you have lain, but you shall certainly die.’ ” Then Elijah departed.

Now therefore, thus says the Lord:‘ You shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.’” So Elijah departed.

Now therefore thus saith Jehovah, Thou shalt not come down from the bed whither thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed.

Therefore, this is what the Lord says:‘ You will not get up from your sickbed— you will certainly die.’” Then Elijah left.

Therefore this is what the LORD says,“ You will not leave the bed you lie on, for you will certainly die!”’” So Elijah went on his way.

Now therefore Yahweh says,“ You will not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but you will surely die.”’” Then Elijah departed.

They replied,“ A man came up to us and told us to go back to the king and give him this message.‘ This is what the Lord says: Is there no God in Israel? Why are you sending men to Baal zebub, the god of Ekron, to ask whether you will recover? Therefore, because you have done this, you will never leave the bed you are lying on; you will surely die.’”

And Elijah said to the king,“ This is what the Lord says: Why did you send messengers to Baal zebub, the god of Ekron, to ask whether you will recover? Is there no God in Israel to answer your question? Therefore, because you have done this, you will never leave the bed you are lying on; you will surely die.”

For the Lord had said of them,“ They will all die in the wilderness.” Not one of them survived except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

The wicked are crushed by disaster, but the godly have a refuge when they die.

What’s more, the Lord will hand you and the army of Israel over to the Philistines tomorrow, and you and your sons will be here with me. The Lord will bring down the entire army of Israel in defeat.”

For all people are mine to judge— both parents and children alike. And this is my rule: The person who sins is the one who will die.

Then Ahijah said to Jeroboam’s wife,“ Go on home, and when you enter the city, the child will die.

Godly people find life; evil people find death.

except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”

“ You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman.
