But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Go up and meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and ask them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going off to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron?’

耶和华的天使对提斯比人以利亚说：“你去截住撒玛利亚王的使者，对他们说，‘你们为什么去求问以革伦的神明巴力·西卜？难道以色列没有上帝吗？’

但耶和华的使者对提斯比人以利亚说：“你动身上去迎着撒玛利亚王的使者，对他们说：‘你们去求问以革伦的神巴力．西卜，是因为以色列中没有神吗？

但耶和華的使者對提斯比人以利亞說：「你起來，去迎着撒馬利亞王的使者，對他們說：『你們去問以革倫神巴力‧西卜，豈因以色列中沒有神嗎？』

但耶和華的使者對提斯比人以利亞說：「你起來，上去迎見撒瑪利亞王的使者，對他們說：『你們去問以革倫的神明巴力‧西卜，是因為以色列中沒有上帝嗎？』

但耶和華的使者對提斯比人以利亞說：「你起來，上去迎見撒瑪利亞王的使者，對他們說：『你們去問以革倫的神明巴力‧西卜，是因為以色列中沒有神嗎？』

But the angel of the Lord spoke to Elijah, who was from Tishbe. The angel said,“ Go up to see the messengers of Ahaziah, the king of Samaria. Tell them,‘ You are on your way to ask Baal- Zebub for advice. He is the god of Ekron. Are you going there to pray to that god? Do you think there is no God in Israel?’

But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say to them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron?

But the angel of the Lord told Elijah, who was from Tishbe,“ Go and confront the messengers of the king of Samaria and ask them,‘ Is there no God in Israel? Why are you going to Baal zebub, the god of Ekron, to ask whether the king will recover?

But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Go and meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and say to them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron?

But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and say to them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal zebub, the god of Ekron?’

But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say to them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron?’

But the angel of Jehovah said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it because there is no God in Israel, that ye go to inquire of Baal- zebub, the god of Ekron?

But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Go and meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and ask them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron?’

But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them,[ Is it] not because[ there is] not a God in Israel,[ that] ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?

But the LORD’s angelic messenger told Elijah the Tishbite,“ Get up, go to meet the messengers from the king of Samaria. Say this to them:‘ You must think there is no God in Israel! That explains why you are on your way to seek an oracle from Baal Zebub the god of Ekron.

But Yahweh’s angel said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and tell them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel, that you go to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron?

Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab,“ As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.”

“ Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God’s love for them.

God is renowned in Judah; in Israel his name is great.

Has a nation ever changed its gods?( Yet they are not gods at all.) But my people have exchanged their glorious God for worthless idols.Be appalled at this, you heavens, and shudder with great horror,” declares the Lord.“ My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.

Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up.“ Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.Then the angel said to him,“ Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so.“ Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him.Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision.They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.Then Peter came to himself and said,“ Now I know without a doubt that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from Herod’s clutches and from everything the Jewish people were hoping would happen.”

Now Ahaziah had fallen through the lattice of his upper room in Samaria and injured himself. So he sent messengers, saying to them,“ Go and consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron, to see if I will recover from this injury.”

Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite:

At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed:“ Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command.

Then he lay down under the bush and fell asleep. All at once an angel touched him and said,“ Get up and eat.”

After a long time, in the third year, the word of the Lord came to Elijah:“ Go and present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the land.”

And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said,“ He is possessed by Beelzebul! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons.”

They replied,“ He had a garment of hair and had a leather belt around his waist.” The king said,“ That was Elijah the Tishbite.”

Then Naaman and all his attendants went back to the man of God. He stood before him and said,“ Now I know that there is no God in all the world except in Israel. So please accept a gift from your servant.”

The angel of the Lord came back a second time and touched him and said,“ Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you.”

“ A man came to meet us,” they replied.“ And he said to us,‘ Go back to the king who sent you and tell him,“ This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!”’”

This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel.

The angel of the Lord said to Elijah,“ Go down with him; do not be afraid of him.” So Elijah got up and went down with him to the king.He told the king,“ This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel for you to consult that you have sent messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Because you have done this, you will never leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!”

Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip,“ Go south to the road— the desert road— that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”

When Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his robes, he sent him this message:“ Why have you torn your robes? Have the man come to me and he will know that there is a prophet in Israel.”
