耶和華的天使對提斯比人以利亞說：「你去截住撒瑪利亞王的使者，對他們說，『你們為什麼去求問以革倫的神明巴力·西蔔？難道以色列沒有上帝嗎？』

但耶和华的使者对提斯比人以利亚说：“你起来，去迎着撒玛利亚王的使者，对他们说：‘你们去问以革伦神巴力西卜，岂因以色列中没有神吗？’

但耶和华的使者对提斯比人以利亚说：“你起来，上去迎见撒玛利亚王的使者，对他们说：‘你们去问以革伦的神明巴力‧西卜，是因为以色列中没有上帝吗？’

但耶和华的使者对提斯比人以利亚说：“你起来，上去迎见撒玛利亚王的使者，对他们说：‘你们去问以革伦的神明巴力‧西卜，是因为以色列中没有神吗？’

但耶和華的使者對提斯比人以利亞說：「你起來，上去迎見撒瑪利亞王的使者，對他們說：『你們去問以革倫的神明巴力‧西卜，是因為以色列中沒有上帝嗎？』

但耶和華的使者對提斯比人以利亞說：「你起來，上去迎見撒瑪利亞王的使者，對他們說：『你們去問以革倫的神明巴力‧西卜，是因為以色列中沒有神嗎？』

但耶和華的使者對提斯比人以利亞說：“你動身上去迎著撒瑪利亞王的使者，對他們說：‘你們去求問以革倫的神巴力．西卜，是因為以色列中沒有神嗎？

但是永恆主的使者對提斯比人以利亞說：『你起來、上去迎接撒瑪利亞王的使者，對他們說：「是不是因為以色列中沒有上帝，而你們得去尋問以革倫的神巴力西卜呢？」

耶和華之使者諭提斯比人以利亞曰、起迎撒瑪利亞王之使、謂之曰、以色列中豈無上帝、乃往詢以革倫神巴力西卜乎、

耶和華之使告的庇人以利亞曰、爾往迓撒馬利亞王之使者、告之曰、在以色列中豈無上帝、乃往詢以革倫之上帝巴力西卜乎。

主之使者諭提斯比人以利亞曰、爾起、迎撒瑪利亞王之使者、謂之曰、以色列中豈無天主、爾曹乃往問以革倫之神巴力西卜乎、

But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Go up and meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and ask them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going off to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron?’

But the angel of the Lord spoke to Elijah, who was from Tishbe. The angel said,“ Go up to see the messengers of Ahaziah, the king of Samaria. Tell them,‘ You are on your way to ask Baal- Zebub for advice. He is the god of Ekron. Are you going there to pray to that god? Do you think there is no God in Israel?’

But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say to them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron?

But the angel of the Lord told Elijah, who was from Tishbe,“ Go and confront the messengers of the king of Samaria and ask them,‘ Is there no God in Israel? Why are you going to Baal zebub, the god of Ekron, to ask whether the king will recover?

But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Go and meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and say to them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron?

But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and say to them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal zebub, the god of Ekron?’

But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say to them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron?’

But the angel of Jehovah said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it because there is no God in Israel, that ye go to inquire of Baal- zebub, the god of Ekron?

But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Go and meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and ask them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron?’

But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them,[ Is it] not because[ there is] not a God in Israel,[ that] ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?

But the LORD’s angelic messenger told Elijah the Tishbite,“ Get up, go to meet the messengers from the king of Samaria. Say this to them:‘ You must think there is no God in Israel! That explains why you are on your way to seek an oracle from Baal Zebub the god of Ekron.

But Yahweh’s angel said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and tell them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel, that you go to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron?

有一位先知名叫以利亞，是基列的提斯比人。他對亞哈說：「我憑我事奉的以色列的上帝——永活的耶和華起誓，如果我不禱告，這幾年必沒有雨水和甘露。」

那些信奉虛無神明的人，背棄了憐愛他們的主，

上帝在猶大人人皆知，在以色列威名遠揚。

雖然列國的神明根本不是真神，卻沒有一國更換自己的神明。但我的子民卻把自己榮耀的上帝換作了無用的假神。諸天啊，要因此而震驚戰慄、大感淒涼。這是耶和華說的。因為我的子民犯了兩項罪，他們離棄了我這活水源泉，為自己挖了不能蓄水的破池子。

忽然，有一位主的天使站在彼得身旁，監牢內一片光明，天使拍他的肋旁，把他叫醒，說：「趕快起來！」鐵鏈就從他手上脫落下來。天使對他說：「束上腰帶，穿好鞋子。」彼得一一照辦。天使又說：「披上外衣，跟我來！」他跟著天使走出牢房，不知道這一切都是真的，還以為自己看到了異象。他們一路穿過第一道和第二道守衛，來到通往城裡的鐵門，那門竟自動打開了。他們就出來，走過一條街之後，天使便離開了彼得。彼得這才如夢初醒，說：「現在我確定，主派了天使來救我脫離希律的魔掌，不讓猶太人的期望得逞。」

一天，亞哈謝從撒瑪利亞王宮的樓臺上掉下來，受了傷，就派使者去求問以革倫的神明巴力·西蔔，看自己能否痊癒。

耶和華對提斯比人以利亞說：

到了獻晚祭的時候，以利亞先知走到壇前禱告：「亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的上帝耶和華啊，求你今天讓這些人知道你是以色列的上帝，我是你的僕人，我是按你的命令做這一切事。

他躺在樹下睡著了。有一位天使拍醒他，說：「起來吃東西吧。」

旱災持續了三年。一天，耶和華吩咐以利亞說：「你去見亞哈。我要降雨在地上。」

從耶路撒冷下來的律法教師說：「祂被別西卜附體。」又說：「祂是靠鬼王趕鬼。」

他們答道：「那人身穿毛皮衣服，腰束皮帶。」王說：「他是提斯比人以利亞。」

乃縵率領全體隨從回到上帝的僕人那裡，站在他面前說：「如今我才知道，除了以色列，普天下沒有上帝。請你收下僕人的禮物。」

耶和華的天使第二次來拍醒他，說：「起來吃東西吧，你還要走很遠的路。」

他們答道：「有一個人在路上截住我們，要我們回來告訴你，耶和華對你說，『你差人去求問以革倫的神明巴力·西蔔，是因為以色列沒有上帝嗎？因此，你再也不能下床了，你必定死。』」

今天，耶和華必把你交在我手中，我必殺死你，砍掉你的頭，用非利士軍兵的屍體餵天上的飛禽和地上的走獸，使普天下都知道以色列有上帝。

耶和華的天使對以利亞說：「不要害怕，跟他去吧！」以利亞就起來跟他去見王。以利亞對王說：「耶和華說，『你差人去求問以革倫的神明巴力·西蔔，是因為以色列沒有上帝可以求問嗎？因此，你再也不能下床了，你必定死。』」

有一天，主的天使對腓利說：「起來，向南走，往耶路撒冷通往迦薩的路去。」那條路很荒涼。

上帝的僕人以利沙聽說以色列王撕裂了衣服，便派人去對王說：「你為什麼撕裂衣服呢？讓那人到我這裡來，我要讓他知道以色列有先知。」
