Now Ahaziah had fallen through the lattice of his upper room in Samaria and injured himself. So he sent messengers, saying to them,“ Go and consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron, to see if I will recover from this injury.”

Ahaziah had fallen through the window of his upstairs room in Samaria. He had hurt himself. So he sent messengers to ask the god named Baal- Zebub for advice. Baal- Zebub was the god of the city of Ekron. Ahaziah said to the messengers,“ Go and ask Baal- Zebub whether I will get well again.”

Now Ahaziah fell through the lattice in his upper chamber in Samaria, and lay sick; so he sent messengers, telling them,“ Go, inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I shall recover from this sickness.”

One day Israel’s new king, Ahaziah, fell through the latticework of an upper room at his palace in Samaria and was seriously injured. So he sent messengers to the temple of Baal zebub, the god of Ekron, to ask whether he would recover.

Ahaziah had fallen through the latticed window of his upstairs room in Samaria and was injured. So he sent messengers, instructing them,“ Go inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I will recover from this injury.”

And Ahaziah fell through the window lattice in his upper chamber which was in Samaria, and became ill. So he sent messengers and said to them,“ Go, inquire of Baal zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I will recover from this sickness.”

以利沙來到大馬士革。亞蘭王便．哈達患了病。有人告訴他說：“神人來到這裡了。”王對哈薛說：“你帶著禮物，去見神人，託他求問耶和華說：‘我這病能痊愈嗎？’”於是哈薛去見以利沙。他帶著禮物，就是大馬士革各樣的美物，由四十匹駱駝馱著，去站在他的面前，說：“你的兒子亞蘭王便．哈達派我到你這裡來，問你說：‘我這病能痊愈嗎？’”以利沙對他說：“你去告訴他說：‘你一定會痊愈的’，但耶和華指示我，他一定要死。”

學生若能像老師一樣，奴僕若能像主人一樣，也就夠了。如果一家之主也被稱為別西卜﹙“別西卜”是鬼王的名字。﹚，何況他的家人呢？

有人說：“他靠鬼王別西卜趕鬼。”

我列祖所毀滅的國，有歌撒、哈蘭、利色和在提．拉撒的伊甸人，這些國的神曾拯救她們嗎？

因為他們離棄了我，去敬拜西頓人的女神亞斯他錄、摩押人的神基抹和亞捫人的神米勒公，沒有遵行我的道，行我眼中看為正的事，謹守我的律例典章，像他的父親大衛一樣。

又把列國的神都扔進火中；因為他們不是神，只是人手所做的，不過是木頭和石頭，所以他們就滅絕了他們。

但耶和華的使者對提斯比人以利亞說：“你動身上去迎著撒瑪利亞王的使者，對他們說：‘你們去求問以革倫的神巴力．西卜，是因為以色列中沒有神嗎？

他們對王說：“有一個人上來迎著我們，又對我們說：‘去吧，回到那差派你們的王那裡，對他說：耶和華這樣說：你派人去求問以革倫的神巴力．西卜，是因為以色列中沒有神嗎？因此，你必不能從你躺上去的那張床上下來，因為你必定死。’”

法利賽人聽見了，說：“這個人趕鬼，只不過是靠鬼王別西卜罷了。”耶穌知道他們的心思，就對他們說：“如果一個國家自相紛爭，就必定荒涼；一城一家自相紛爭，必站立不住。如果撒但趕逐撒但，就會自相紛爭。那麼，他的國怎能站立得住呢？我若靠別西卜趕鬼，你們的子孫又靠誰趕鬼呢？這樣，他們就要斷定你們的不是。

有一個少年人，名叫猶推古，坐在窗臺上，因為保羅講得很長，他很困倦，沉沉地睡著了，就從三樓跌下來；把他扶起來的時候，已經死了。

災難不是臨到不義的人嗎？災禍不是臨到作孽的人嗎？

於是他們把神的約櫃送到以革倫。神的約櫃到了以革倫的時候，以革倫人就喊叫：“他們把以色列神的約櫃運到我們這裡來，是要殺害我們和我們的人啊！”

西西拉的母親從窗戶裡向外觀望，從窗櫺中呼叫說：‘他的戰車為甚麼遲遲不來呢？車輪為甚麼行得緩慢呢？’

有一個人隨便射了一箭，竟射中了以色列王鐵甲與護胸甲之間的地方。王對駕車的說：“你把車轉過來，載我離開戰場吧！我受了重傷。”

你不是應佔有你的神基抹要你佔有的地嗎？我們不是應佔有耶和華我們的神，從我們面前趕走的人的一切地嗎？

你要帶十個餅，一些餅乾和一瓶蜜去見他，他會告訴你孩子將要怎樣。”

我的良人像羚羊，像小鹿。看哪！他站在我們的牆後；從窗口觀看，從窗格往裡面探視。

所以耶和華要用極大的災禍擊打你的人民、妻子和兒女，以及你的一切財產。至於你，你的腸臟必患嚴重的病，直到因病情日益嚴重，你的腸子都流出來了。’”
