耶和華的使者對以利亞說：「你跟他下去，不要怕他！」以利亞就起來，跟他下到王那裏去。

The angel of the Lord said to Elijah,“ Go down with him; do not be afraid of him.” So Elijah got up and went down with him to the king.

The angel of the Lord said to Elijah,“ Go down along with him. Don’t be afraid of him.” So Elijah got up and went down to the king with the captain.

Then the angel of the Lord said to Elijah,“ Go down with him; do not be afraid of him.” So he arose and went down with him to the king

Then the angel of the Lord said to Elijah,“ Go down with him, and don’t be afraid of him.” So Elijah got up and went with him to the king.

所以你當束腰，起來，將我所吩咐你的一切話都告訴他們；不要因他們驚惶，免得我使你在他們面前驚惶。

你，人子啊，雖有荊棘和蒺藜在你那裏，你又住在蠍子中間，總不要怕他們，也不要怕他們的話；他們雖是悖逆之家，但你不要怕他們的話，也不要因他們的臉色驚惶。

我，惟有我是安慰你們的。你是誰，竟怕那必死的人，怕那生命如草的世人，

這些事以後，耶和華的話在異象中臨到亞伯蘭，說：「亞伯蘭哪，不要懼怕！我是你的盾牌，你必得豐富的賞賜。」

以利亞說：「我指着所事奉永生的萬軍之耶和華起誓，我今日要讓亞哈見到我。」

因着信，他離開埃及，不怕王的憤怒，因為他恆心忍耐，如同看見那不能看見的上帝。

耶和華是我的亮光，是我的拯救，我還怕誰呢？耶和華是我生命的保障，我還懼誰呢？

但耶和華的使者對提斯比人以利亞說：「你起來，上去迎見撒瑪利亞王的使者，對他們說：『你們去問以革倫的神明巴力‧西卜，是因為以色列中沒有上帝嗎？』

我必使你向這百姓成為堅固的銅牆。他們必攻擊你，卻不能勝過你；因我與你同在，要拯救你，搭救你。這是耶和華說的。

那殺人身體但不能滅人靈魂的，不要怕他們；惟有那能在地獄裏毀滅身體和靈魂的，才要怕他。
