他从欺压和残暴中赎回他们的性命，他们的血在他眼中看为宝贵。

但是我不把自己的生命看为宝贵，为要跑尽我该跑的路程，完成从主耶稣所领受的服事工作，为神恩典的福音郑重地做见证。

扫罗说：“我有罪了！我儿大卫啊，回来吧！我不会再伤害你了，因为今天我的性命在你眼中看为宝贵。看哪，我行事愚蠢，并且错得极其严重。”

——因为灵魂的赎价昂贵，人只好永远罢休——

因为凡想要保全自己生命的，将失去生命；凡为我的缘故失去自己生命的，将寻得生命。一个人就是赚得了全世界，却赔上了自己的生命，到底有什么益处呢？人还能拿什么来换回自己的生命呢？

要知道，为了妓女，人会卑贱如一块饼；而通奸的女人，会猎取宝贵的性命。

在耶和华的眼中，他忠信者的死是宝贵的。
