For it is superfluous for me to write to you about this ministry to the saints;

论到供给圣徒的事，我不必写信给你们；

关于供应圣徒的事，我本来没有写信给你们的必要，

关于服事圣徒的事，其实我不必给你们写什么，

論到供給聖徒的事，我不必寫信給你們；

關於供給聖徒的事，我本來不必寫信給你們；

關於供給聖徒的事，我本來不必寫信給你們；

關於捐助聖徒的事，其實我不必再寫信提醒你們，

關於供應聖徒的事，我本來沒有寫信給你們的必要，

論到供應聖徒的事、寫信給你們、於我是多餘的。

關於服事聖徒的事，其實我不必給你們寫什麼，

論供事聖徒、毋庸書以遺爾、

言及施濟聖徒、余毋庸丁寧、

論及周濟聖徒之事、我無庸書以囑爾、

其實關於周濟聖徒之事、應無須吾之喋喋也。

There is no need for me to write to you about this service to the Lord’s people.

Now it is superfluous for me to write to you about the ministry for the saints,

I really don’t need to write to you about this ministry of giving for the believers in Jerusalem.

For it is not necessary for me to write you about this service to the saints,

It is indeed unnecessary for me to write to you concerning the service to the saints,

So then, while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God.Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all,while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you.

Now as to the love of the brothers and sisters, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;for indeed you practice it toward all the brothers and sisters who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers and sisters, to excel even more,

begging us with much urging for the favor of participation in the support of the saints,and this, not as we had expected, but they first gave themselves to the Lord and to us by the will of God.So we urged Titus that as he had previously made a beginning, so he would also complete in you this gracious work as well.But just as you excel in everything, in faith, speaking, knowledge, and in all earnestness and in the love we inspired in you, see that you also excel in this gracious work.I am not saying this as a command, but as proving, through the earnestness of others, the sincerity of your love as well.For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.I give my opinion in this matter, for this is to your advantage, who were the first to begin a year ago not only to do this, but also to desire to do it.But now finish doing it also, so that just as there was the willingness to desire it, so there may be also the completion of it by your ability.For if the willingness is present, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.For this is not for the relief of others and for your hardship, but by way of equality—at this present time your abundance will serve as assistance for their need, so that their abundance also may serve as assistance for your need, so that there may be equality;as it is written:“ The one who had gathered much did not have too much, and the one who had gathered little did not have too little.”

Now as to the periods and times, brothers and sisters, you have no need of anything to be written to you.

But regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God:
