論及處女、我未奉主命、惟蒙主矜恤以為忠、則以己意示之、

凡於我主耶穌基督有不朽之愛者、願恩惠偕爾焉、

愛毋偽、惡惡而親善、

語其餘、我也、非主也、如兄弟有婦不信、彼喜同居則勿棄之、

蓋我知爾之願、誇於馬其頓人、言亞該亞人備已經年、且爾之熱衷、鼓舞多人、

故爾於諸會前、宜向之以彰爾愛、及我誇爾之證、

我於此示以己意、乃爾之益、蓋爾不第行之、亦定意倡之、已經年矣、

爾既循真理以潔乃心、致愛兄弟無偽、則宜切心相愛、

今當寅畏耶和華、以真以誠崇事之、去除爾祖昔在河東、暨在埃及所事之神、惟崇事耶和華、
