I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of others.

各人要随本心所酌定的，不要作难，不要勉强，因为捐得乐意的人是神所喜爱的。

我的弟兄们，若有人说自己有信心，却没有行为，有什么益处呢？这信心能救他吗？若是弟兄或是姐妹，赤身露体，又缺了日用的饮食；你们中间有人对他们说：“平平安安地去吧！愿你们穿得暖，吃得饱”，却不给他们身体所需用的，这有什么益处呢？

又要彼此相顾，激发爱心，勉励行善。

廉洁、知识、恒忍、恩慈、圣灵的感化、无伪的爱心、

弟兄们，我把神赐给马其顿众教会的恩告诉你们，就是他们在患难中受大试炼的时候，仍有满足的快乐，在极穷之间还格外显出他们乐捐的厚恩。我可以证明，他们是按着力量，而且也过了力量，自己甘心乐意地捐助，

惟用爱心说诚实话，凡事长进，连于元首基督。

若他们的过失为天下的富足，他们的缺乏为外邦人的富足，何况他们的丰满呢？我对你们外邦人说这话；因我是外邦人的使徒，所以敬重我的职分，或者可以激动我骨肉之亲发愤，好救他们一些人。

他们来到你这里如同民来聚会，坐在你面前仿佛是我的民。他们听你的话却不去行；因为他们的口多显爱情，心却追随财利。

论到童身的人，我没有主的命令，但我既蒙主怜恤能作忠心的人，就把自己的意见告诉你们。

并愿所有诚心爱我们主耶稣基督的人都蒙恩惠！

爱人不可虚假。恶，要厌恶；善，要亲近。

我对其余的人说，不是主说，倘若某弟兄有不信的妻子，妻子也情愿和他同住，他就不要离弃妻子。

因为我知道你们乐意的心，常对马其顿人夸奖你们，说亚该亚人预备好了，已经有一年了；并且你们的热心激动了许多人。

所以，你们务要在众教会面前显明你们爱心的凭据，并我所夸奖你们的凭据。

我在这事上把我的意见告诉你们，是与你们有益；因为你们下手办这事，而且起此心意，已经有一年了，

你们既因顺从真理，洁净了自己的心，以致爱弟兄没有虚假，就当从心里彼此切实相爱。

“现在你们要敬畏耶和华，诚心实意地侍奉他，将你们列祖在大河那边和在埃及所侍奉的神除掉，去侍奉耶和华。
