你们既然在信心、口才、知识、热心，和待我们的爱心上，都格外显出满足来，就当在这慈惠的事上也格外显出满足来。

爾於凡事、若信、若言、若知識、若慇懃、以及向我之愛既溢、則於此惠亦宜如是、

爾於信主、傳道、智慧、殷勤、愛我、既勉行之、則捐金之事、亦宜勉行、

爾等既富於信德、口才、智慧、熱心、及友愛矣、則於慈善之美德、寧可後人耶？

But since you excel in everything— in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you— see that you also excel in this grace of giving.

You do well in everything else. You do well in faith and in speaking. You do well in knowledge and in complete commitment. And you do well in the love we have helped to start in you. So make sure that you also do well in the grace of giving to others.

But as you excel in everything— in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you— see that you excel in this act of grace also.

Since you excel in so many ways— in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us— I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving.

故當殷勤、有信當有德、有德當有知識、有知識當有操守、有操守當有忍耐、有忍耐當有虔敬、有虔敬當有愛兄弟之心、有愛兄弟之心、當有愛眾之心、爾有此、且充溢、則識我主耶穌基督而不怠荒、無不結果、

我祈禱、欲爾仁愛與諸知識智慧、日以加多、

天主能以諸恩廣施於爾、使爾凡事恆足、可多行諸善、

雖有先知之明、能探諸奧妙、得諸知識、信德俱備、能以移山、若無愛、則無益、

論及祭偶像之物、我儕知我眾皆有知識、但知識使人自大、惟愛建德、若人自以為知、則按所當知、無所知也、

兄弟乎、我儕當為爾恆感謝天主、此理所宜也、因爾之信愈增、彼此相愛亦愈甚、

我眾無論猶太人、希拉人、為奴者、自由者、皆由一神受洗禮、以歸一身、皆飲於一神、

蓋爾因彼諸事富有、大有口才智慧、

爾異乎人、誰使爾異、爾何所有而非受之乎、既受之何誇似未受乎、

故我勸提多既於爾中首勸施惠捐貲、亦當畢此事、

愛永不隕、但先知講道之能將廢、言方言之能將止、知識亦將廢、

不但以彼來慰我、亦以彼在爾中所受之慰慰我、彼以爾之戀慕、憂傷、及向我之熱心告我、使我欣喜不勝、

凡穢言勿出爾口、言必善以建德、使聽者獲益、

爾既賴聖神、而潔己心、致能順真理、以愛兄弟無偽、則當由清潔之心、彼此切愛、

我子乎、爾賴基督耶穌恩寵、當剛強、

賴耶穌基督、得充滿義果、使人歸榮天主、稱頌天主、○

兄弟乎、我深知爾滿仁慈、充智慧、亦能相勸、

當求多得恩賜、深知我主耶穌基督、願榮光歸之、自今以至永世、阿們、

如是、爾曹既慕神之恩賜、則多求其能建教會之德者、

且彼因天主賜爾厚恩、即深慕爾、為爾祈禱、

至於兄弟相愛、無庸我儕書以示爾、蓋爾已為天主所教、當彼此相愛、爾向瑪其頓徧地之諸兄弟、果如此行、我儕勸爾曹益加勉之、

爾自言我富厚有財、無所匱缺、不知爾實可憫、困苦、貧乏、瞽目、裸身、

故我儕既得不可震之國、則當感恩、虔恭寅畏、以事天主、此乃天主所悅者、
