我望彼行此、不但如我所望、且始已獻己於主、又竭力事我、遵天主之旨、

我儕無人為己而生、亦無人為己而死、蓋我生為主而生、我死為主而死、故或生或死、皆屬主、基督死而復生、為欲使其為生者死者之主、

主曰、是日後、我與以色列族所將立之約即此、我將以我律法、置於其衷、銘於其心、我為彼之天主、彼為我之民、

基督之愛勉勵我、因我思一人既代眾死、則眾皆死、彼代眾死、則生者勿為己而生、必為代其死而復生者生也、

豈不知爾由天主所受之聖神、居於爾中、而爾身即聖神之殿乎、且爾非屬己、蓋爾為重值所購、爾身爾神、皆屬天主、故當以身以神、歸榮天主、有原文抄本作爾為重值所購故當以身歸榮天主
