我现在样样都有，丰富有余。我从以巴弗提手上收到了你们送给我的礼物，已经充足了。这些馈赠是蒙上帝悦纳的馨香祭物。我的上帝必按照祂在基督耶稣里的荣耀，丰丰富富地赐给你们所需用的一切。

最后，使徒、长老和全教会都决定从他们当中选派代表，随保罗和巴拿巴去安提阿。他们选了别号巴撒巴的犹大和西拉，这两位都是教会的领袖。

因为这件善事不单可以帮助经济困难的圣徒，也使许多人对上帝充满感恩。通过这件善事，他们会把荣耀归给上帝，因为看见你们信服基督的福音，慷慨地帮助他们及众人。他们也会因上帝赐给你们的丰盛恩典而热切地为你们祷告。

上帝能够将各样的恩典多多赐给你们，使你们在各方面常常富足有余，可以多行各样的善事。

弟兄姊妹，我们现在要让你们知道上帝向马其顿各教会所施的恩典。他们虽然遭遇极大的患难，受尽熬炼，却充满了喜乐，在极度贫穷的情况下仍然十分慷慨乐捐。我可以证明，他们是甘心乐意，尽其所能地捐助，甚至超过了自己的能力。他们恳切地求我们准许他们与有需要的圣徒分享上帝的恩典。

所以我们一致决定选派代表，随我们敬爱的巴拿巴和保罗去你们那里。

按着自己所得的恩赐彼此服侍，做上帝各样恩典的好管家。能讲道的，要按着上帝的话去讲；能服侍人的，要本着上帝所赐的力量去服侍。这样，上帝会借着耶稣基督在一切的事上得到荣耀。愿荣耀和权能都归于祂，直到永永远远。阿们！

所以，我们劝提多要继续完成他早先在你们当中开始的这件善事。你们既然在信心、口才、知识、热心和对我们的爱心上都有突出的表现，也要在这件善事上有突出的表现。

弟兄姊妹，请从你们中间选出七位声誉良好、被圣灵充满、有智慧的人来负责膳食，而我们要专心祈祷和传道。”大家一致同意，便选出充满信心、被圣灵充满的司提凡，此外还有腓利、伯罗哥罗、尼迦挪、提门、巴米拿，以及曾信过犹太教、来自安提阿的外族人尼哥拉。大家将这七个人带到使徒面前。使徒把手按在他们身上，为他们祷告。
