我請提多就爾、又求一弟偕之、提多曾得爾財乎、我眾非同一心乎、非同一跡而行乎、○

惟各當循天主所賜者、循主所召者而行、我命諸教會亦如是、

又遣一弟同往、我於諸事、屢試之而知其殷勤、今彼甚信爾、故殷勤更切、論提多、乃我之伴侶、為爾而同勞、論兩弟、乃諸教會之使、顯彰基督之榮者、

不但此也、亦為諸教會所選、與我同行、送我所集之捐貲、歸榮於主、亦表爾樂捐之心、

昔我至特羅亞、傳基督之福音、主為我啟門、

亦為我命冒死、故不但我謝之、在異邦諸教會亦然、亦問安集於其家之教會、
