For if in anything I have boasted to him on your behalf, I was not disappointed. But as we spoke all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be truth.

我誇爾於提多者、今無愧矣、我嘗語爾者悉真、誇爾於彼者亦真、

吾素讚爾、今無愧矣、我語爾者真、讚爾於提多亦真、

我曾於提多前為爾而誇、今無愧矣、我素告爾之言皆真、於提多前所誇者亦真、

蓋曩者吾曾誇爾等之美於提多之前矣；爾等實未使我抱愧也。然則吾儕所誇耀於提多之前者、皆真實不虛、正如吾儕向爾等所直言不諱者、亦皆真實不虛也。

I had boasted to him about you, and you have not embarrassed me. But just as everything we said to you was true, so our boasting about you to Titus has proved to be true as well.

I had bragged about you to him. And you have not let me down. Everything we said to you was true. In the same way, our bragging about you to Titus has also turned out to be true.

For whatever boasts I made to him about you, I was not put to shame. But just as everything we said to you was true, so also our boasting before Titus has proved true.

I had told him how proud I was of you— and you didn’t disappoint me. I have always told you the truth, and now my boasting to Titus has also proved true!

For if I have made any boast to him about you, I have not been disappointed; but as I have spoken everything to you in truth, so our boasting to Titus has also turned out to be the truth.

For if I have boasted to him about you regarding anything, I was not put to shame. But as we spoke all things to you in truth, so also our boasting before Titus proved to be the truth.

For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which[ I made] before Titus, is found a truth.

For if I have boasted to him about anything concerning you, I have not been embarrassed by you, but just as everything we said to you was true, so our boasting to Titus about you has proved true as well.

Therefore show the proof of your love to them before the assemblies, and of our boasting on your behalf.

Great is my boldness of speech toward you. Great is my boasting on your behalf. I am filled with comfort. I overflow with joy in all our affliction.

Nevertheless, he who comforts the lowly, God, comforted us by the coming of Titus,

for I know your readiness, of which I boast on your behalf to those of Macedonia, that Achaia has been prepared for the past year. Your zeal has stirred up very many of them.But I have sent the brothers that our boasting on your behalf may not be in vain in this respect, that, just as I said, you may be prepared,lest by any means, if anyone from Macedonia comes there with me and finds you unprepared, we( to say nothing of you) would be disappointed in this confident boasting.

so that we ourselves boast about you in the assemblies of God for your perseverance and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you endure.

But as God is faithful, our word toward you was not“ Yes and no.”For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, by me, Silvanus, and Timothy, was not“ Yes and no,” but in him is“ Yes.”For however many are the promises of God, in him is the“ Yes.” Therefore also through him is the“ Amen”, to the glory of God through us.

For even if I boast somewhat abundantly concerning our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up, and not for casting you down, I will not be ashamed,
