As a fair exchange— I speak as to my children— open wide your hearts also.

I speak to you as if you were my children. It is only fair that you open your hearts wide to us also.

In return( I speak as to children) widen your hearts also.

I am asking you to respond as if you were my own children. Open your hearts to us!

And he said,“ The arrow of the LORD’s deliverance and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; for you must strike the Syrians at Aphek till you have destroyed them.”Then he said,“ Take the arrows”; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel,“ Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped.And the man of God was angry with him, and said,“ You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.”

Brethren, I urge you to become like me, for I became like you. You have not injured me at all.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

But Jesus said to them,“ A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.”Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.And He marveled because of their unbelief.
