所以，我們總是勇敢的，並且知道，只要我們住在這身體內就是離開了主。

因此我们总是满怀勇气，尽管知道我们还住在这身体里的时候，是与主相离的；

所以，我們時常坦然無懼，並且曉得我們住在身內，便與主相離。

所以我們時常放膽無懼，曉得住在身內、便是出外離開了主；（

因此我們總是滿懷勇氣，儘管知道我們還住在這身體裡的時候，是與主相離的；

故我常坦然、知居於身、則離乎主、

故心恆安、知存於身、則離於主、

故我心毅然、且知己居於身、則離於主、

因是吾人常具大無畏精神；且深知吾人之寄於軀壳中、猶如暫別主之庭闈、而作客他鄉者也。

Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord.

So here is what we can always be certain about. As long as we are at home in our bodies, we are away from the Lord.

So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord,

So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord.

So we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord.

Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord—

So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord.

Being therefore always of good courage, and knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord

So, we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord.

Therefore[ we are] always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

Therefore we are always full of courage, and we know that as long as we are alive here on earth we are absent from the Lord–

這些人都是存着信心死的，並沒有得着所應許的，卻從遠處觀望，且歡喜迎接。他們承認自己在地上是客旅，是寄居的。

我們卻是天上的國民，並且等候救主，就是主耶穌基督從天上降臨。他要按着那能使萬有歸服自己的大能，把我們這卑賤的身體改變形狀，和他自己榮耀的身體相似。

因為我們知道，我們這地上的帳篷若拆毀了，我們將有上帝所造的居所，不是人手所造的，而是在天上永存的。

「耶和華啊，求你聽我的禱告，側耳聽我的呼求！我流淚，求你不要靜默無聲！因為在你面前我是客旅，是寄居的，像我列祖一般。

雖有軍隊安營攻擊我，我的心也不害怕；雖然興起戰爭攻擊我，我仍舊安穩。有一件事，我曾求耶和華，我仍要尋求，就是一生一世住在耶和華的殿中，瞻仰他的榮美，在他的殿宇裏求問。

主耶和華－以色列的聖者如此說：「你們得救在乎歸回安息，得力在乎平靜安穩。」你們卻是不肯，

所以，我這同作長老，作基督受苦的證人和分享將來所要顯現的榮耀的人，勉勵在你們中間的長老們：

我們勇敢，更情願離開身體，與主同住。

我－約翰就是你們的弟兄，在耶穌裏和你們一同在患難、國度、忍耐裏有份的，為上帝的道，並為給耶穌作的見證，曾在那名叫拔摩的海島上。

敬畏耶和華的，大有倚靠；他的兒女也有避難所。

所以，不可丟棄你們無懼的心，存這樣的心必得大賞賜。

我在地上是寄居的人，求你不要向我隱藏你的命令！

我們在你面前是客旅，是寄居的，與我們的列祖一樣。我們在世的日子如影子，沒有盼望。

在這裏，我們本沒有永存的城，而是在尋求那將要來的城。

將軍對他們說：「你們去告訴希西家，大王亞述王如此說：『你倚賴甚麼，讓你如此自信滿滿？
