Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

夫天主之所以創造吾人者、正為此事；且已授吾人以聖神為其保證。

Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

God has formed us for that very purpose. He has given us the Holy Spirit as a down payment. The Spirit makes us sure of what is still to come.

He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit.

Now the one who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave us the Spirit as a down payment.

Now he that wrought us for this very thing is God, who gave unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Then they came to the Valley of Eshcol, and there cut down a branch with one cluster of grapes; they carried it between two of them on a pole. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit.

But when he sees his children, The work of My hands, in his midst, They will hallow My name, And hallow the Holy One of Jacob, And fear the God of Israel.

To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,

Also your people shall all be righteous; They shall inherit the land forever, The branch of My planting, The work of My hands, That I may be glorified.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
