God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Christ didn’t have any sin. But God made him become sin for us. So we can be made right with God because of what Christ has done for us.

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.

For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it—the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written,“ The righteous shall live by faith.”

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

“ Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.

And the angel answered her,“ The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy— the Son of God.

How long shall there be lies in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, and who prophesy the deceit of their own heart,
