So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away– look, what is new has come!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

When anyone lives in Christ, the new creation has come. The old is gone! The new is here!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.

I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will remove the heart of stone from your body and give you a heart of flesh.

You were taught with reference to your former way of life to lay aside the old man who is being corrupted in accordance with deceitful desires,to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,and to put on the new man who has been created in God’s image– in righteousness and holiness that comes from truth.

“ Don’t remember these earlier events; don’t recall these former events.“ Look, I am about to do something new. Now it begins to happen! Do you not recognize it? Yes, I will make a road in the desert and paths in the wilderness.

Jesus replied,“ I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Create for me a pure heart, O God! Renew a resolute spirit within me!

I will give them one heart and I will put a new spirit within them; I will remove the hearts of stone from their bodies and I will give them tender hearts,

Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.Keep thinking about things above, not things on the earth,for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.When Christ( who is your life) appears, then you too will be revealed in glory with him.So put to deat h whatever in your nature belongs to the earth: sexual immorality, impurity, shameful passion, evil desire, and greed which is idolatry.Because of these things the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience.You also lived your lives in this way at one time, when you used to live among them.But now, put off all such things as anger, rage, malice, slander, abusive language from your mouth.Do not lie to one another since you have put off the old man with its practicesand have been clothed with the new man that is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of the one who created it.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that matters is a new creation!

For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.

You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, this person does not belong to him.But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is your life because of righteousness.

He is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

Throw away all your sins you have committed and fashion yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! Why should you die, O house of Israel?

God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we would become the righteousness of God.

Therefore we have been buried with him through baptism into death, in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may live a new life.For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will certainly also be united in the likeness of his resurrection.We know that our old man was crucified with him so that the body of sin would no longer dominate us, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.

“ I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me– and I in him– bears much fruit, because apart from me you can accomplish nothing.

But these assets I have come to regard as liabilities because of Christ.More than that, I now regard all things as liabilities compared to the far greater value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things– indeed, I regard them as dung!– that I may gain Christ,and be found in him, not because I have my own righteousness derived from the law, but because I have the righteousness that comes by way of Christ’s faithfulness– a righteousness from God that is in fact based on Christ’s faithfulness.

So then from now on we acknowledge no one from an outward human point of view. Even though we have known Christ from such a human point of view, now we do not know him in that way any longer.

He takes away every branch that does not bear fruit in me. He prunes every branch that bears fruit so that it will bear more fruit.

Jesus answered,“ I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

when he nullified in his flesh the law of commandments in decrees. He did this to create in himself one new man out of two, thus making peace,

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female– for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.

You will know at that time that I am in my Father and you are in me and I am in you.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had ceased to exist, and the sea existed no more.And I saw the holy city– the new Jerusalem– descending out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband.And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying:“ Look! The residence of God is among human beings. He will live among them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them.He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any more– or mourning, or crying, or pain, for the former things have ceased to exist.”And the one seated on the throne said:“ Look! I am making all things new!” Then he said to me,“ Write it down, because these words are reliable and true.”

For look, I am ready to create new heavens and a new earth! The former ones will not be remembered; no one will think about them anymore.But be happy and rejoice forevermore over what I am about to create! For look, I am ready to create Jerusalem to be a source of joy, and her people to be a source of happiness.

Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ.For he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world that we may be holy and unblemished in his sight in love.

But now we have been released from the law, because we have died to what controlled us, so that we may serve in the new life of the Spirit and not under the old written code.

I in them and you in me– that they may be completely one, so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.

“ Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is known by its fruit.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; when it comes, the heavens will disappear with a horrific noise, and the celestial bodies will melt away in a blaze, and the earth and every deed done on it will be laid bare.Since all these things are to melt away in this manner, what sort of people must we be, conducting our lives in holiness and godliness,while waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God? Because of this day, the heavens will be burned up and dissolve, and the celestial bodies will melt away in a blaze!But, according to his promise, we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness truly resides.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision carries any weight– the only thing that matters is faith working through love.

No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, because the patch will pull away from the garment and the tear will be worse.And no one pours new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the skins burst and the wine is spilled out and the skins are destroyed. Instead they put new wine into new wineskins and both are preserved.”

In other words, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting people’s trespasses against them, and he has given us the message of reconciliation.

they will say about me,“ Yes, the LORD is a powerful deliverer.”’” All who are angry at him will cower before him.All the descendants of Israel will be vindicated by the LORD and will boast in him.

Israel will be delivered once and for all by the LORD; you will never again be ashamed or humiliated.

“ It will not be like the covenant that I made with their fathers, on the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not continue in my covenant and I had no regard for them, says the Lord.“ For this is the covenant that I will establish with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and I will inscribe them on their hearts. And I will be their God and they will be my people.“ And there will be no need at all for each one to teach his countryman or each one to teach his brother saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ since they will all know me, from the least to the greatest.“ For I will be merciful toward their evil deeds, and their sins I will remember no longer.”When he speaks of a new covenant, he makes the first obsolete. Now what is growing obsolete and aging is about to disappear.

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. But when I became an adult, I set aside childish ways.
