We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to take pride in us, so that you can answer those who take pride in what is seen rather than in what is in the heart.

欲以外貌誇世、強爾受割禮者、恐為基督十字架之道、見窘逐耳、彼受割而不守法、欲因爾而誇、故使爾受割、我則不然、我所誇者、惟吾主耶穌基督十字架之道、吾為斯道、視己如釘十字架、視世亦然、

我不宜自誇、但言主之顯現默示、十四年前、有宗基督者、見引至三層天、其時魂附體否、吾不知、上帝知之、若人魂附體否、吾不知、上帝知之、見引至樂園、聞奧言、不可為他人道者、吾為若人誇、不為己誇、吾惟誇吾柔、即誇亦不為狂、我言乃真、但余不言、恐人謂我過於所見所聞、蓋莫大此默示、恐我自高、故身受刺、任撒但之役擊我、使我不得自高、吾三求主、以此離我、主曰、吾恩與爾足矣、人益柔、則吾之能益彰、故余欣然、寧誇吾柔、使基督之能庇我、

主賜我權、非以敗人、乃以輔德、我雖愈誇、吾亦無愧、

而以吾行事、自薦為上帝僕、有若多忍、患難、災害、阨窮、

有人自許、吾不敢與之匹、與之較、我謂彼較其所較、度其所度、不智也、

人揄揚爾則可、自善其善則非所宜。

吾誇誠狂、緣爾不得已、爾當許我、我雖無才、不亞於至大使徒、

見納者非自許、乃主所許焉、
