For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

We must all stand in front of Christ to be judged. Each one of us will be judged for what we do while in our bodies. We’ll be judged for the good things and the bad things. Then each of us will receive what we are supposed to get.

So don’t judge anything prematurely, before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the intentions of the hearts. And then praise will come to each one from God.

For God will bring every act to judgment, including every hidden thing, whether good or evil.

and faithful love belongs to you, Lord. For you repay each according to his works.

Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a person sows he will also reap,because the one who sows to his flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

Because of your hardened and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment is revealed.He will repay each one according to his works:eternal life to those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality;but wrath and anger to those who are self-seeking and disobey the truth while obeying unrighteousness.There will be affliction and distress for every human being who does evil, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek;but glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does what is good, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek.

They will give an account to the one who stands ready to judge the living and the dead.

It was about these that Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied:“ Look! The Lord comes with tens of thousands of his holy onesto execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly concerning all the ungodly acts that they have done in an ungodly way, and concerning all the harsh things ungodly sinners have said against him.”

He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be the judge of the living and the dead.

Say among the nations,“ The LORD reigns. The world is firmly established; it cannot be shaken. He judges the peoples fairly.”Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let the sea and all that fills it resound.Let the fields and everything in them celebrate. Then all the trees of the forest will shout for joybefore the LORD, for he is coming— for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with his faithfulness.

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, so that you obey its desires.And do not offer any parts of it to sin as weapons for unrighteousness. But as those who are alive from the dead, offer yourselves to God, and all the parts of yourselves to God as weapons for righteousness.

Our God is coming; he will not be silent! Devouring fire precedes him, and a storm rages around him.On high, he summons heaven and earth in order to judge his people:“ Gather my faithful ones to me, those who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”The heavens proclaim his righteousness, for God is the Judge. because he has set a day when he is going to judge the world in righteousness by the man he has appointed. He has provided proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”

Tell the righteous that it will go well for them, for they will eat the fruit of their labor.Woe to the wicked— it will go badly for them, for what they have done will be done to them.

Then I saw a great white throne and one seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from his presence, and no place was found for them.I also saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judged according to their works by what was written in the books.Then the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them; each one was judged according to their works.Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

But you, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or you, why do you despise your brother or sister? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.For it is written, As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow to me, and every tongue will give praise to God.So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.

may you hear in heaven and act. May you judge your servants, condemning the wicked man by bringing what he has done on his own head and providing justice for the righteous by rewarding him according to his righteousness.

Those who oppose the LORD will be shattered; he will thunder in the heavens against them. The LORD will judge the ends of the earth. He will give power to his king; he will lift up the horn of his anointed.

Rise up, LORD, in your anger; lift yourself up against the fury of my adversaries; awake for me; you have ordained a judgment.Let the assembly of peoples gather around you; take your seat on high over it.The LORD judges the peoples; vindicate me, LORD, according to my righteousness and my integrity.

“ Everything is permissible for me,” but not everything is beneficial.“ Everything is permissible for me,” but I will not be mastered by anything.“ Food is for the stomach and the stomach for food,” and God will do away with both of them. However, the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.God raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by his power.Don’t you know that your bodies are a part of Christ’s body? So should I take a part of Christ’s body and make it part of a prostitute? Absolutely not!Don’t you know that anyone joined to a prostitute is one body with her? For Scripture says, The two will become one flesh.But anyone joined to the Lord is one spirit with him.Flee sexual immorality! Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the person who is sexually immoral sins against his own body.Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,for you were bought at a price. So glorify God with your body.

I am using a human analogy because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you offered the parts of yourselves as slaves to impurity, and to greater and greater lawlessness, so now offer them as slaves to righteousness, which results in sanctification.

You could not possibly do such a thing: to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. You could not possibly do that! Won’t the Judge of the whole earth do what is just?”

Do not boast so proudly, or let arrogant words come out of your mouth, for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and actions are weighed by him.

may you hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and may you forgive, act, and give to everyone according to all their ways, since you know each heart, for you alone know every human heart,

I don’t say this to condemn you, since I have already said that you are in our hearts, to die together and to live together.
