吾人現世暫寓之逆旅、固有土崩瓦解之時。然吾人在天有一永久之安宅焉。此宅也、非人手所造、乃天主之所賜也。

亲爱的，我们现在是上帝的儿女，将来如何还未显明。我们所知道的是：基督显现的时候，我们会像他，因为我们将见到他的本相。

我知道我的救赎主活着，末后他必站在尘土上。我这皮肉灭绝之后，我必在肉体之外得见上帝。

我认为趁我还在这帐棚的时候，应该激发你们的记忆，因为知道我脱离这帐棚的时候快到了，正如我们的主耶稣基督所指示我的。

我们有这宝贝放在瓦器里，为要显明这莫大的能力是出于上帝，不是出于我们。

但现在基督已经来到，作了已实现的美事的大祭司，经过那更大更全备的帐幕，不是人手所造，也不是属于这世界的；

因为基督并没有进了人手所造的圣所—这不过是真圣所的影像—而是进到天上，如今为我们出现在上帝面前。

但是，不是属灵的在先，而是属血肉的在先，然后才是属灵的。第一个人是出于地，是属于尘土；第二个人是出于天。那属尘土的怎样，凡属尘土的也都怎样；属天的怎样，凡属天的也都怎样。

何况那些住在泥屋、根基在尘土里、被蛀虫所毁坏的人呢？

其实，我们在这帐篷里的人劳苦叹息，并不是愿意脱下地上的帐篷，而是愿意穿上天上的居所，好使这必死的被生命吞灭了。

好得到不朽坏、不玷污、不衰残、为你们存留在天上的基业，

在我父的家里有许多住处；若是没有，我就早已告诉你们了。我去原是为你们预备地方去。我若去为你们预备了地方，就必再来接你们到我那里去，我在哪里，叫你们也在哪里。

你必汗流满面才有食物可吃，直到你归了土地，因为你是从土地而出的。你本是尘土，仍要归回尘土。”

既然这一切都要如此消失，你们处世为人必须圣洁敬虔，

你们也在他里面受了不是人手所行的割礼，而是使你们脱去肉体情欲的基督的割礼。

“我们听见他说：‘我要拆毁这人手所造的殿，三日内另造一座不是人手所造的。’”

因为他等候着那座有根基的城，就是上帝所设计和建造的。

因为我们是上帝的同工，而你们是上帝的田地、上帝的房屋。

你把我提到风中，使我乘风而去，使我消失在烈风之中。

我呼求的日子，仇敌都要转身撤退。上帝帮助我，这是我所知道的。

为这缘故，我也受这些苦难。然而，我不以为耻，因为我知道我所信的是谁，也深信他能保全他所交托我的，直到那日。
