For we know that if our earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made by hands, eternal in the heavens.

我知此身、猶土室帷幕、雖壞、然有上帝經營、非手所作之室、悠久於天、

我知此我屬地之幕屋既壞、則有天主所造、非人手所造之屋、永遠在天、

吾人現世暫寓之逆旅、固有土崩瓦解之時。然吾人在天有一永久之安宅焉。此宅也、非人手所造、乃天主之所賜也。

For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.

We know that the earthly tent we live in will be destroyed. But we have a building made by God. It is a house in heaven that lasts forever. Human hands did not build it.

For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.

Yet as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, And at the last, He will take His stand on the earth.Even after my skin is destroyed, Yet from my flesh I will see God,

I consider it right, as long as I am in this earthly dwelling, to stir you up by way of reminder,knowing that the laying aside of my earthly dwelling is imminent, as also our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

But we have this treasure in earthen containers, so that the extraordinary greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;

But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things having come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made by hands, that is, not of this creation;

For Christ did not enter a holy place made by hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual.The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven.As is the earthy one, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly one, so also are those who are heavenly.

How much more those who live in houses of clay, Whose foundation is in the dust, Who are crushed before the moth!

For indeed, we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed but to be clothed, so that what is mortal will be swallowed up by life.

to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable, undefiled, and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,

In My Father’s house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will take you to Myself, so that where I am, there you also will be.

By the sweat of your face You shall eat bread, Until you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken; For you are dust, And to dust you shall return.”

Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,

and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision performed without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ,

“ We heard Him say,‘ I will destroy this temple that was made by hands, and in three days I will build another, made without hands.’ ”

for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.

You lift me up to the wind and make me ride it; And You dissolve me in a storm.

Then my enemies will turn back on the day when I call; This I know, that God is for me.

For this reason I also suffer these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that He is able to protect what I have entrusted to Him until that day.
