然屬靈者非在先、屬血氣者在先、屬靈者繼之、先者本乎地而屬土、後者乃本乎天、屬土者如何、凡屬土者亦如何、屬天者如何、凡屬天者亦如何、

況居土舍、基塵埃、為蠹所敗者乎、

我尚處此幕、負重而歎息、非欲脫之、乃欲衣之、致屬死者見滅於生耳、

而得不壞不玷不衰之業、為爾存之於天、

我父家多第宅、否則我必先告爾、我往備爾所居耳、若往備之、則復來接爾歸我、我所在、爾亦在焉、

必汗流浹面、始可得食、迨爾歸土、蓋爾由土出、汝本為土、終則歸之、

諸物既將如是消滅、則爾之為人、當如何清潔虔敬哉、

且於彼受割、非以手者、乃由基督之割、而革情欲之身、○

曰、我儕嘗聞其言云、此殿乃手所作、我將毀之、三日別建一殿、非手所作者、

蓋望有基之邑其營之造之者、上帝也、

蓋我儕乃上帝同勞者、爾曹為上帝之田、上帝之室、○

舉我使乘狂風、消滅我於巨暴、

我呼籲時、敵必卻退、上帝佑我、我所知兮、

職是之故、我受諸苦而不恥、蓋識我所信者、且深信其能守我所託、以至乃日、
