我們知道，當我們屬地的家——這帳篷被拆毀的時候，我們就有從神而來的殿宇，不是人手所造的，而是在天上的永恆的家。

吾人現世暫寓之逆旅、固有土崩瓦解之時。然吾人在天有一永久之安宅焉。此宅也、非人手所造、乃天主之所賜也。

For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.

各位蒙愛的人哪，現在我們是神的兒女，將來會怎樣，尚未顯明。我們已經知道的是：基督顯現的時候，我們就會像他，因為我們將看見他的本相。

我認為，只要我還在這帳篷裡，就理當用提醒的話來激發你們，因為我知道我脫離這帳篷的時候快到了，就像我們的主耶穌基督也曾向我指明的。

不過我們有這寶物在瓦器裡，為要顯明這極大的能力是出於神，不是出於我們。

不過基督已經來到，做了那些已經發生的美善之事的大祭司，經過了那更大、更完美的會幕。那會幕不是人手所造的；就是說，不屬於這被造的世界。

因為基督不是進入了人手所造的聖所——那不過是真聖所的象徵——而是進入了上天本身，如今替我們顯現在神的面前。

不過在先的不是屬靈的，而是屬血氣的；在後的才是屬靈的。第一個人是出於地，是屬塵土的；第二個人是出於天。屬塵土的那個人怎樣，那些屬塵土的也就怎樣；屬天的那一位怎樣，那些屬天的也就怎樣。

原來我們在這帳篷裡的人，承受著壓力，甚至呻吟嘆息；不是因為想要脫下，而是想要穿上，好讓這會死的被生命所吞沒。

得著不會朽壞、不會玷汙、不會衰殘、保存在天上的繼業；

在我父家裡有很多住處。如果沒有，我怎麼會告訴你們說，我去是要為你們預備地方呢？我如果去為你們預備了地方，就會再來，接你們到我那裡，好使我在哪裡，你們也能在哪裡。

你必汗流滿面才有飯吃，直到你歸回土地，因為你是從那裡取出來的。你本是塵土，就要歸回塵土。」

既然這一切都要如此被廢除，那麼，你們應該做什麼樣的人呢？應該行為聖潔、敬畏神，

在他裡面，你們也受了割禮，不是藉著人的手，而是藉著脫去那血肉之軀，藉著基督的割禮。

「我們聽他說過『我要拆毀這座人手所造的聖所，三天內另建一座不是人手所造的。』」

因為他等待著那座有根基的城；那城是神所設計、所建造的。

實際上，我們是神的同工；你們是神的田地，是神的建築物。

於是在我呼求的日子裡，我的仇敵必轉身退後；我明白這一點：神在我這邊！

因這理由，我也正在經受這些苦；然而我並不以為恥，因為我知道我信的是誰，也深信他能保守我所受的託付，直到那日。
