The message we preach is not about ourselves. Our message is about Jesus Christ. We say that he is Lord. And we say that we serve you because of Jesus.

for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.

For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.

He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ even from envy and strife, but some also from goodwill;

He who comes from heaven is above all.

The word which He sent to the sons of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ( He is Lord of all)—

The one who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven.

Now a man named Simon had previously been practicing magic in the city and astonishing the people of Samaria, claiming to be someone great;and all the people, from small to great, were paying attention to him, saying,“ This man is the Power of God that is called Great.”

When the crowds saw what Paul had done, they raised their voice, saying in the Lycaonian language,“ The gods have become like men and have come down to us!”And they began calling Barnabas, Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, since he was the chief speaker.Moreover, the priest of Zeus, whose temple was just outside the city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, and wanted to offer sacrifice with the crowds.But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard about it, they tore their robes and rushed out into the crowd, crying outand saying,“ Men, why are you doing these things? We are also men, of the same nature as you, preaching the gospel to you, to turn from these useless things to a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything that is in them.

Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says,“ Jesus is accursed”; and no one can say,“ Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

But Jesus called them to Himself and said,“ You know that the rulers of the Gentiles domineer over them, and those in high position exercise authority over them.It is not this way among you, but whoever wants to become prominent among you shall be your servant,and whoever desires to be first among you shall be your slave;

yet for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.

“ As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

just as I also please everyone in all things, not seeking my own benefit but the benefit of the many, so that they may be saved.
