So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

So we don’t spend all our time looking at what we can see. Instead, we look at what we can’t see. That’s because what can be seen lasts only a short time. But what can’t be seen will last forever.

因为我们行事是凭着信心，不是凭着眼见），

我们得救时就存着这盼望；但是看得见的盼望不是盼望，因为谁会盼望自己看见了的呢？但如果我们盼望没有看见的，就会耐心地热切期待。

信就是对所盼望的事的把握，是还看不见之事的明证。

这些人都是存着信心死了的，还没有得着所应许的，只不过是从远处看见，就表示欢迎，又承认他们在世上是异乡人，是客旅。

原来世上的一切，就如肉体的私欲，眼目的私欲和今生的骄傲，都不是出于父，而是从世界来的。这世界和世上的私欲都要渐渐过去，但那遵行神旨意的却存到永远。

他应许给我们的，就是永远的生命。

他宁愿选择和神的子民一同受苦，也不肯享受罪恶中暂时的快乐。在他看来，为着基督受的凌辱，比埃及的财物更宝贵，因为他注视将来的赏赐。因着信，他离开了埃及，不怕王的忿怒；因为他坚定不移，就像看见了人不能看见的神。

专一注视耶稣，就是那位信心的创造者和完成者。他因为那摆在面前的喜乐，就忍受了十字架，轻看了羞辱，现在就坐在神宝座的右边。这位忍受罪人那样顶撞的耶稣，你们要仔细思想，免得疲倦灰心。

他们要进入永远的刑罚，义人却要进入永生。”

愿我们的主耶稣基督自己，和那爱我们、开恩把永远的安慰和美好的盼望赐给我们的父神，

赎罪祭牲的脂肪，他要焚烧在祭坛上。那送走归阿撒泻勒的山羊的人，要洗净自己的衣服，用水洗身，然后才可以进到营里。
