Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses’ face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end,

这最终带来死亡、刻在石版上的律法条文的事工尚且有荣耀，甚至使摩西的脸上发出荣光，尽管很快就消逝了，以色列人仍然无法定睛看他，

如果那以文字刻在石上使人死的律法的工作，尚且带有荣光，以致以色列人因着摩西脸上短暂的荣光，不能注视他的脸，

如果，那以条文刻在石版上、属死亡的服事工作尚且带有荣光——以致以色列子民因为摩西脸上那渐渐消失的荣光，不能注视他的脸——

那用字刻在石頭上屬死的職事尚且有榮光，甚至以色列人因摩西面上的榮光，不能定睛看他的臉；這榮光原是漸漸退去的，

那用字刻在石頭上屬死的事奉尚且有榮光，以致以色列人因摩西臉上那逐漸褪色的榮光不能定睛看他的臉，

那用字刻在石頭上屬死的事奉尚且有榮光，以致以色列人因摩西臉上那逐漸褪色的榮光不能定睛看他的臉，

這最終帶來死亡、刻在石版上的律法條文的事工尚且有榮耀，甚至使摩西的臉上發出榮光，儘管很快就消逝了，以色列人仍然無法定睛看他，

如果那以文字刻在石上使人死的律法的工作，尚且帶有榮光，以致以色列人因著摩西臉上短暫的榮光，不能注視他的臉，

那屬致死職事的制度、用文字刻在石頭上的、尚且帶着榮光而立，甚至以色列人、因摩西臉上的榮光（雖那榮光漸漸消逝）、人也不能定睛看他的臉，

如果，那以條文刻在石版上、屬死亡的服事工作尚且帶有榮光——以致以色列子民因為摩西臉上那漸漸消失的榮光，不能注視他的臉——

夫致死之役、文鐫諸石、尚以榮而成、因摩西之榮、以色列人不能注視其面、此榮乃暫耳、

昔摩西面暫榮、以色列人不能注目視彼、夫以舊典致死之法鐫諸石、其榮且如此、

昔摩西之面有榮、其榮雖暫而將廢、以色列人不能注目觀之、致死之儀文、鐫於石版者、其役尚有此榮、

夫以肅殺之文字、勒之於石、供其役者、且有盛極一時之殊榮、甚至摩西面上光采煥發、非義塞子孫所得而直視焉；

Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was,

The Law was written in letters on stone. Even though it was a way of serving God, it led to death. But even that way of serving God came with glory. The glory lasted for only a short time. Even so, the people of Israel couldn’t look at Moses’ face very long.

The old way, with laws etched in stone, led to death, though it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses’ face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away.

Now if the ministry that brought death, chiseled in letters on stones, came with glory, so that the Israelites were not able to gaze steadily at Moses’s face because of its glory, which was set aside,

But if the ministry of death, engraved in letters on stones, came with glory so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was,

But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,

But if the ministration of death, written, and engraven on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look stedfastly upon the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which glory was passing away:

Now if the ministry of death, chiseled in letters on stones, came with glory, so that the Israelites were not able to look directly at Moses’ face because of the glory from his face— a fading glory—

But if the ministration of death, written[ and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which[ glory] was to be done away:

But if the ministry that produced death– carved in letters on stone tablets– came with glory, so that the Israelites could not keep their eyes fixed on the face of Moses because of the glory of his face( a glory which was made ineffective),

But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face, which was passing away,

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory.Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it.For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory.

but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.

And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

The Lord said to Moses,“ Come up to me on the mountain and wait there, that I may give you the tablets of stone, with the law and the commandment, which I have written for their instruction.”

And he gave to Moses, when he had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.

The very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me.

And as he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became dazzling white.And behold, two men were talking with him, Moses and Elijah,who appeared in glory and spoke of his departure, which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.

For the law brings wrath, but where there is no law there is no transgression.

And gazing at him, all who sat in the council saw that his face was like the face of an angel.

“ At that time the Lord said to me,‘ Cut for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and come up to me on the mountain and make an ark of wood.And I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets that you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.’So I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut two tablets of stone like the first, and went up the mountain with the two tablets in my hand.And he wrote on the tablets, in the same writing as before, the Ten Commandments that the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly. And the Lord gave them to me.

who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

So I turned and came down from the mountain, and the mountain was burning with fire. And the two tablets of the covenant were in my two hands.

For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being,

Then Moses turned and went down from the mountain with the two tablets of the testimony in his hand, tablets that were written on both sides; on the front and on the back they were written.The tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, engraved on the tablets.

And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments, and he wrote them on two tablets of stone.

And as soon as he came near the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses’ anger burned hot, and he threw the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain.

And the Lord God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them.

So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.Did that which is good, then, bring death to me? By no means! It was sin, producing death in me through what is good, in order that sin might be shown to be sin, and through the commandment might become sinful beyond measure.For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am of the flesh, sold under sin.

When I went up the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant that the Lord made with you, I remained on the mountain forty days and forty nights. I neither ate bread nor drank water.And the Lord gave me the two tablets of stone written with the finger of God, and on them were all the words that the Lord had spoken with you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly.And at the end of forty days and forty nights the Lord gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant.

So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights. He neither ate bread nor drank water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, with the two tablets of the testimony in his hand as he came down from the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because he had been talking with God.Aaron and all the people of Israel saw Moses, and behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come near him.But Moses called to them, and Aaron and all the leaders of the congregation returned to him, and Moses talked with them.Afterward all the people of Israel came near, and he commanded them all that the Lord had spoken with him in Mount Sinai.And when Moses had finished speaking with them, he put a veil over his face.Whenever Moses went in before the Lord to speak with him, he would remove the veil, until he came out. And when he came out and told the people of Israel what he was commanded,the people of Israel would see the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face was shining. And Moses would put the veil over his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

The Lord said to Moses,“ Cut for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.

[ Men] Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day.

not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end.But their minds were hardened. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away.

I long for your salvation, O Lord, and your law is my delight.

The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;

having the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was a golden urn holding the manna, and Aaron’s staff that budded, and the tablets of the covenant.

You came down on Mount Sinai and spoke with them from heaven and gave them right rules and true laws, good statutes and commandments,

And what great nation is there, that has statutes and rules so righteous as all this law that I set before you today?

“ These words the Lord spoke to all your assembly at the mountain out of the midst of the fire, the cloud, and the thick darkness, with a loud voice; and he added no more. And he wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.

Therefore I love your commandments above gold, above fine gold.Therefore I consider all your precepts to be right; I hate every false way.
