Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.

并不是我们凭自己能承担什么事；我们所能承担的，乃是出于神。

并不是我们凭自己配做什么事，我们之所以配做是出于上帝；

并不是我们凭自己配做什么事，我们之所以配做是出于神；

我们并不认为自己能够承担什么，我们能够承担全是靠上帝。

我们不敢以为自己有资格作什么，我们所能够作的是出于神。

并不是说，我们凭自己配得上把什么算做出于自己；而是说，我们之所以配得上是出于神。

並不是我們憑自己能承擔甚麼事；我們所能承擔的，乃是出於神。

並不是我們憑自己配做甚麼事，我們之所以配做是出於上帝；

並不是我們憑自己配做甚麼事，我們之所以配做是出於神；

我們並不認為自己能夠承擔什麼，我們能夠承擔全是靠上帝。

非言自能有所揆度、我之能由上帝而已、

我不能擅自思索、吾之能由上帝、

非謂我儕恃己能由己而思何事、我之能由天主也、

至吾儕本人、則空無所有、不足道也。吾儕之所有皆淵源於天主。

In ourselves we are not able to claim anything for ourselves. The power to do what we do comes from God.

Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God,

It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God.

It is not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God.

Not that we are adequate in ourselves so as to consider anything as having come from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,

not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;

It is not that we are competent in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our competence is from God.

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency[ is] of God;

Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as if it were coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,

not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God,

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them— yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

But he said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

“ I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

Moses said to the Lord,“ Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”The Lord said to him,“ Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord?Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”But Moses said,“ Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”Then the Lord’s anger burned against Moses and he said,“ What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet you, and he will be glad to see you.You shall speak to him and put words in his mouth; I will help both of you speak and will teach you what to do.He will speak to the people for you, and it will be as if he were your mouth and as if you were God to him.

But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say,for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.

I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

“ Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said,“ I do not know how to speak; I am too young.”But the Lord said to me,“ Do not say,‘ I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you.Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me,“ I have put my words in your mouth.See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”

By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care.

I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”

To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task?
